(Y/n)'s Pov

I had gotten myself the so-called memory book but I was having a hard time believing what I found inside. It all played like a memory right before my eyes and while it did appear real I just couldn't. The events just didn't make sense. "What the hell? No way I refuse to believe I saved that bastard! Stupid book!" Throwing the book across the room was the only thing I could do at the moment although as the patio door closed my heartbeat picked up. "Be careful with that book (Y/n) I worked rather hard on it"

"You! I don't care what's in that book! It doesn't change anything!" Being mad was an understatement and as Doflamingo walked closer with that book I got up from my spot on the bed. "Stubborn as always I see. I understand you are upset-" He didn't get to finish, not when I was mad. "No! You don't understand how I feel! If you did, I wouldn't be forced to stay here!" Doflamingo was just staring at me but when he finally replied his feet began to wander closer. "How is it your temper has flared so much in such a short period of time?"

He had almost reached me but I held out my hands as I took several steps back to gain some distance. "Stay where you are... I don't trust you" He backed off when I said that although I could see he was hurt by it. "Fine but will you at least tell me why? You witnessed the memories of the book did you not?" That book had been gone over and it hadn't changed my opinion.

"Yeah, and I saved your stupid ass. At what part did I convince you that I was in love with you? It doesn't exist you took something small and decided it was love! You are crazy! A yandere, on top of being a vampire, as well as a brat!" My temper was just getting worse speaking to him but it couldn't be helped. "I am trying to be a better person. Please (Y/n) I waited years for you" His claims didn't mean a thing to me. "Get out and if you want to come back you better bring me a snack!"

"You are hungry? I can get you something to eat. Yes, I will be right back" I should have thought of saying that before although I was glad, I could at least have some time to breathe. "Freak... Why did I save him?" He wasn't human and vampires had already died once so why did I put my life at risk to save his? It didn't make any sense. "Because we love him. Just think about it! We could have a vampire all to ourselves!" That almost sounded like my voice but that couldn't have been the case. "Oh, great I'm going crazy"

"No, those thoughts belong to you. I just organized them better. That book contains only Doflamingo's memories without yours the reality remains incomplete. You do however love him if that means anything to you" The voice had changed and this time I recognized it as the girl I met earlier. "Luna?" I almost expected to find her on the ceiling but no this time she was standing in front of me. "You remembered my name. I am glad"

"How do you know that information about me?"

"I can see them. They're locked up but not completely gone. I am sorry I cannot release them from their prison but please believe me when I say they are there. You made Doflamingo so very happy. There was once a time when he spoke to no one besides his family. That festival changed him. He started to care. Started to open up. Slowly became a man his Little Human could see the good in. It is still a work in process but can you not see his effort?"

Luna was someone new to me although I didn't see why she was here defending Doflamingo of all people. "The good in him? How is it you know so much?" Her response was almost scripted and despite that, I listened carefully. "I watch from the sidelines listening for trouble. Doflamingo endangered himself by falling for you but still, he refused to abandon you. You have no memories it would have been easy to simply forget. Doflamingo fights for you so why do you not give something in return? Would it be impossible for you to return the feelings of another?"

This wasn't just some man she was talking about. Luna was referring to a beast from fairy tails had shouldn't exist. "He's a vampire" It was like she had prepared for this since immediately she spoke. "Does that truly matter to you?" That was left on the table and I needed to take a minute but came up with something. "He's dead" Luna must have had some kind of power since again her reply was immediate.
