Chapter 5

Y/n POV
It's so beautiful

The light breeze of the air. The crisp air filling my nose. Something about the morning air had a different feeling. The morning air was refreshing and clean. The sun that was so bright. Was reduced to a pale yellow. The scene looked like a painting that you wouldn't believe was a painting. You walked around looking at how the placed compared to when it was bright out.

You were brought out of your trance when you heard a couple of footsteps behind you. You turned and were met with Mia and Zach. "Hey guys wanna join me?" They walked with you for awhile when Mia spoke up. "Hey Commander said we were going on our first expedition. He placed us in two separate squads." I won't be able to keep an eye on them. I trust Zach, but Mia she was still inexperienced.

"I'm aware of the expedition. I haven't been assigned to a squad yet" I stopped and looked at them both. "What squad are you guys placed in" hopefully I can convince the commander to let me in with Mia. "I'm in Levi's squad and Zach is in Mike's squad" so she's in Levi squad. "Ok.... looks like training is about to start let's go" I saw people lining up. Mia groaned knowing she was going to be in pain.

Time skip (after training)
Y/n POV
I was walking back inside while stretching. I heard my bones cracking as my body stretched. I Corporal Levi down the hallway. "Oi cadet y/n" I didn't do anything right? I saluted. "Yes sir what is it you needed" he stopped for a moment. "I want to see you in my office" I nodded and he walked off. Seems busy

I was bored and I had nothing to do. I decide to clean then go to Hange and help with her experiments. I finished cleaning then went to Hanges lab. I knocked and was immediately dragged in the office.

"Ok that was fun" Hange sat me down on her chair. I looked around her room. Paper... everywhere. "Hey my precious y/n. I need help" she turned around to grab something.

"How did you know I was the one outside your door?" I questioned. "I stalked you" she said bluntly. That's fun

"I'm just kidding I recognized your footsteps" she laughed at my reaction. "Anyways I want you to test two of these experiments. I'm assuming your ok with syringes?" Two experiments?! "Um....what do the two do exactly?" She better not kill me.

"So the first one a truth serum and the other one is a fast regeneration potion. In case someone gets badly injured we can use this so they heal faster. Like a titan except there not." I looked so surprised. "Ok ok I get the second one but, a truth serum? What use would you need for that?!" I'm fine with the second one but that first one was questionable. "I think I would prefer not to tell everyone what I really think" she put the serums in the syringe and looked at me with crazy eyes.

"Don't worry you'll be fine" she grabbed my arm and ejected the serums. "Ok give it a few minutes and we'll see" I was so nervous.

Few minutes later

I didn't exactly feel funny. I knew there was something inside, but it wasn't bothering me. Hange turned to me. "So how are you feeling?" She grabbed her notebook. "I don't really feel anything but, at the same time I do?" Hoping that was an ok answer.

Maybe because I have titans blood and the injection didn't do jack shit. The truth serum was questionable.

"Ok what's your guilty pleasure?" She asked me with a huge grin. I think she was expecting something different from my answer. "I love sweets" I frozen, no one really knew I liked sweets. Except Mia and Zach.

"Judging by that reaction I'm assuming the truth serums works. Now" she said standing up grabbing a knife. "To test the regeneration serum" I backed up looking at her.

She grabbed my arm and put the knife at my skin. She made a small cut. We watched it patch up. Then she made a bigger cut. Lastly she made a pretty deep cut. I hissed at the pain watching the blood drip out. Suddenly the door opened.

"What the fuck are you doing to her" shit it was Levi. We both jumped knowing this was bad. I was bleeding like there was no tomorrow. Hange was holding a bloody knife. "Hey shorty it's not what it seems." He pushed her aside and walked up to me. "Not what it seems? Then why the fuck is she bleeding" he grabbed my arm. He was about to patch it up when it healed up. "See it works" Hange said trying not to get in trouble.

He stared at my arm in shock. The bleeding stopped but there was still blood on my arm. "Are you a titan?" He asked furrowing his eyebrows. I can't lie. If I speak I'll say yea and he'll know. Thank god Hange spoke instead. "No levi, it's just the regeneration serum" he looked at Hange then at me.

"Did she have you test her experiments?" Hange already knew I was going to tell the truth. So she left and probably went to hide. "Yes, she gave me a regeneration, and truth serum" he sighed and let me go. "I'm going to kill her" he glared at "get out of here cadet y/n" I stood up about to leave. "Hey" my hand froze on the door knob. "If you were to chose between hange and my squad which would you choose" I didn't turn to him.

"Your squad Corporal Levi" after that I left the room. I decided to go down to the mess hall to eat.

I wonder how long the serum lasts

I sat down by Eren. I gave Sasha my bread already knowing she was going to ask for it. It wasn't as bad as I thought. I didn't talk as much and when I did it was something I didn't have to worry about the truth. Then hange pulled me to there table.

"So y/n is the serum still working" I glared at her "yes" everyone at the table looked at Hange. "What did you do to her Hange" Petra asked. "I just gave her a truth serum. So she can't lie to us, and I intend to ask you some questions" i stiffed at the thought. What kind of questions?

"Y/n do you have any love interest" I noticed everyone at the table stiff up. They Waite door my answer. "As of right now no" I said drinking my water. She looked disappointed at my answer. "Not even a little how about someone you think is interesting?" Someone who is interesting. Everyone is interesting in there own way. "I think everyone is interesting in there own way." She kept questioning me. "Can you elaborate" she said showing more interest.

"Mmm like Eren he may come off as arrogant, but I think he fights for what he believes in. He is willing to learn new things which I think is cool. I guess it makes him come off as confident?"

"You Hange your interesting as well. Your fascination for titans is funny. I like how you have passion for something so rare. They are fascinating creatures and it's cool someone cares about that."

"Commander Erwin of course to anyone would come off as interesting or intriguing. He has the skills of a great leader. He's quite determine and looks fear in the eye. Something most people would lack."

I took a bit of my food forgetting I was rambling. I looked up and saw everyone was looking at me. I saw Hange tearing up a little. "Y/n I THINK YOUR COOL TOO" she yelled. "Shut up four eyes" Levi said sounding irritated.

"Shorty your just mad because Y/n didn't say anything about you" then a you saw Hange pause. "Y/n" she said turning to me. "Yes?" Dreading the worse. "What do you think of Corporal Levi" Levi stiffened, but remained silent.

What do I think of Levi? Mmm. "Mmm.... I'm not sure. I think he pushes himself to hard. Like he thinks that it would make him seem vulnerable or weak. Though he has subtle movements that make it obvious. I know he cares about the cadets deep down." This truth serum feels weird.

Like it's like I'm thinking thoughts and it comes out of my mouth.

I looked at Levi and saw him staring at me. Did I say to much? Did I offend him?

"Y/n your something you know that?" I tuned to Hange. "One more question"

"What's your history?" I felt the truth serum wear off. Meaning I could lie again. Yaay

"Yea I'm not telling you. Also the serum wore off so I can not tell you truth" Hange groaned knowing she couldn't interrogate you anymore. "Doesn't matter I got what I needed" she smirked. This lady scares me sometimes. I was hoping someone would come and save me from this suffocating atmosphere.

"Hey y/n" I turned and saw Eren. Thanks the lords "hey can you train with me some more?" Stood up and put my tray away. "Ok let's go". I said goodbye to Hange and left with Eren.

God that was embarrassing. Stupid truth serum.
