"And then what happened?!" Maria asked, helping herself to another scoop of ice cream as she waited for Robin's continuation of Pocahontas's story.
Robin smiled, seeing the girl wait in agitation. Her eyes were so expressive and her reactions were delightful. "Pocahontas rushed to shield John Smith from the impact, exclaiming, "NO!"," Robin told, using hand gestures to dramatize the scene more.
Maria listened intently and almost cried when Pocahontas declared her love for John Smith.
Robin loved these nights when he gets to tell Maria stories of the past in a more censored version. It was at these times, he had thanked Dick for those agonizing hours wasted watching Disney Movies. Seeing Maria enjoy his story-telling made him smile.
He'll endure the cringiest and most childish movies, just to see little Maria smile.
