It had been a few days since Robin had seen Maria in his civilian form, but never really had the courage to talk to her. He wasn't Robin, he was Damian. Maria doesn't know Damian.

He still visits the little girl during the night, but now, he wished he could visit her during the day as well.

"Hey, Robin," Maria called. Robin turned his attention to the girl who gazed at him with her expressive brown eyes. "Yes, mahbubi?" he replied.

"If you had a wish, what would you wish for?" she asked.

Robin was confused with the sudden question. What would he wish for? He wanted and needed nothing. And also, wishes aren't real. "Wishing is nothing but false hope," he replied. He looked down at the girl again and saw a sparkle flicker from her eyes. Ah, right. He is talking to a normal child.

"But, what would you like to wish for?" he asked, trying to compensate for what he said.

"Maria is still a child," he reminded himself, "a sweet innocent child."

Maria smiled at him. She answered, "I wish I could make all the bad guys disappear." Maria turned to face him and lightly put her hand on his cheek, "so you wouldn't get hurt anymore."
