Monthsary?

Damian visited Maria today and the small girl enjoyed the teenager's company as she rambled on about how cute pandas were and that there should be pandas in Gotham. 

Now, she was with Robin in their usual spot and she enjoyed lying on his lap while he read her a story. Then a memory came up. "Did you get the card?"

Robin stopped and looked at Maria, confusion twisting his brows. "What card?"

Maria sat up and looked hopefully at the vigilante. "The... The card I gave you..." her voice faltered and doubt entered her mind. "For our 1st monthsary..." she whispered, but Robin heard it as clear as day. 

"I'm sorry, Mahbubi, but I did not receive any card," Robin's own voice was sad, and seeing the girl like this broke his heart. She couldn't have given him a card as Damian Wayne knowing it was for Robin. 

Maria smiled at Robin, and it pained him to see the disappointment in her eyes. "It's okay! I'll just make another one!" Maria said, with her usual enthusiasm, but it wasn't the same when the sparkles in her eyes disappeared.
