MAI'S POV-:

"T-Taehyung...." frightened, that's what I was. Beyond frightened, in-fact. Terror laced my voice as I muttered out his name.
He stood before me, unfathomably calm. His blood shot eyes met mine, and I knew right then, he was actually livid. Absolutely fuming with rage. He will kill me. I have to get out, Now!
I turned to run, only to find five men cornering me. Shit.

My heart leaped in my chest, so hard I was convinced it would bulge out any second.
"Oh Angel." He chuckled in utter amusement, chilling my bones.
"What's the rush? You just got here." I looked at him with cautious eyes.
"Come here Mai." He said with a straight face.
"Now!" I flinched at the sudden raise of his voice.
I slowly walked towards him, stopping a few steps away.
"Closer." He said, annoyed.
I hesitated, but did as was told.
Before I could process what was happening, I was suspended in the air, with his palm wrapped around my neck, choking the life out of me.

"You have no idea how much trouble you're in Mai. It will be a miracle if I don't end up killing you." I struggled, flapping my legs frantically, trying to distract him.
"How dare you try to escape!" He roared, as tears started flooding my vision.
"You really thought you could escape?" He sniggered, as though it were the joke of the century.
"I OWN YOU. EVERY FUCKIN INCH OF YOU BELONGS, TO ME!"
I was seeing black spots by this time.
"But let me prove it to you." Right when I thought I was a goner, he let go, throwing me roughly on the wooden floor.

I coughed hysterically, selfishly hogging the air of the room, trying to recover from my life threatening deprivation.
He crouched down to my level and smirked.
"RUN." He whispered in my ear, gnawing at my earlobe.
"I'll give you a head start. RUN, Angel Mine. If you're able to make it out of Busan before I catch you, then I'll set you free."
"If not..." he paused, gritting in my ear. "I'll chain you to my bed for the rest of your existence. And mark my words, your life will be, a living hell."
My eyes widened horror.

He was gonna hunt me, like prey!
He's a fuckin Monster!
"I'd get going if I were you. You only get one minute." I looked at him, my eyes screamed trepidation.
He simply gave me a smug face, as though he had already won. But no. I'm not gonna stop fighting. Not now. Not when I've come so far.
Before I could pep myself up more he spoke.
"Your time starts NOW. Off you go Angle." I didn't wait to hear him fully. I dashed out of there, as fast as I could, not looking back. I heard his voice echo behind me.
"Pray to God I don't Catch you Mai!"
I got into the car and pressed the accelerator, driving rashly, too afraid to slow down.

Thirty minutes went by. I kept peeking at my rear view mirror every two seconds, searching to find Taehyung in any of the vehicles behind me, but I saw nothing. There was no vehicle chasing me. The roads were mostly empty, probably since it was the weekend. But Something didn't seem right.
As I started reaching the main highway, I noticed a big, black SUV, with pitch black windows, not giving me a view of who was inside.
The mammoth vehicle was the only one, aside from mine on the highway.

Within seconds the SUV caught up, being right behind me, and started slamming into the rear of my vehicle.
"Shit! Shit! Shit!"
I panicked. The bile in my stomach made me nauseous. But I tried to concentrate on the road ahead of me, desperate to find a way to lose the SUV.
I steered the wheel, making the sharp turn, as the car tilted uncomfortably, with the tires screeched against the road. I drove along a completely desolate street.
I breathed a sigh of relief, but it was short lived, for I noticed the SUV do the same, catching up to me again.
"Fuck!"

It tailed me again, slamming into my bumper, butcher it more than it already had been.
"Asshole!" I groaned in frustration.
I stepped on the gas, driving at the fastest speed I could.
Getting impatient with the chase, the SUV swerved into the lane right next to mine, driving head to head with me.
Before I knew it, I was being slammed from the side, constantly pushing my off the road. I tried my best to keep my car steady.
The SUV drove into me once more, with a powerful blow, completely throwing me off.

My car swerved out of control, as my head crashed violently against the window. The seat belt tugged against my chest, as the car did a 360 spin, before completely flipping over.
I couldn't move. My vision was blurry. A beeping sound, buzzed in my ears. All I remember feeling was, pain. My skull felt like it had been cracked open, my limbs hurt. I wouldn't be surprised if I broke a bone or two.

As my thoughts were racing, trying to keep me conscious, they were interrupted by my door being pulled open. I couldn't really process what was happening. I felt someone reaching around me, as I head the unbuckling of my seat belt. I shut my eyes, unable to fight, to stay awake. I felt myself being carried, in a rather familiar hold. The last thing I remembered, was feeling his hot breath against my ear
"Bummer you lost, Angel." I could feel his wicked grin as he spoke,
"Now, you're Never gonna get Away. You're ALL MINE." With that, I finally gave up, passing out.
