MAVIS's POV-:

"Can we please go back now? We've been shopping for four hours!" I exclaimed dramatically, with my arms flying in the air. I was so exhausted, shopping. Honestly I was done in half an hour, but Jungkook took me to at least seventeen stores.
We purchased dresses, crop tops, skirts, blouses, sweats, nightgowns, shoes and the most awkward of all......Lingerie.
Jungkook's expression when one off the salesgirls tried to convince him to buy a slinky red thong and bra set for me, was priceless.

"I suppose we could head back. But are you sure you don't want to buy something else, a dress, or some shoes perhaps?" Jungkook asked as though he were mentally going through a checklist.
"Oh god No! I'm done shopping for this lifetime!" Jungkook chuckled and commented.
"You're not as shopping friendly as women usually are."
"Hey! Sexist much! Not all women enjoy burning plastic on clothes and shoes."
"Guess not." He said plainly with a shrug.

On our way back, I decided to ask him a few things I wanted to know about Taehyung.
"Hey, Jungkook?" I started.
"Hmmm?"
"Can I ask you something?"
"Anything Mavis."
"Is Taehyung this kind to ever woman he encounters?"
"No. He can actually be quite....ummm....let's just say 'not so kind'." I looked at him with probing eyes. He sighed and continued.
"He's has a rough childhood which has deeply scarred him. Deep down he's....he's kinda broken. But he's also very resilient. He doesn't open up or share his pain with others. He follows the logic of 'dealing with your shit yourself'."
'Now doesn't that sound Familiar.'

JUNGKOOK's POV-:

I answered Mavis's question as melancholically as I could. I always knew I had a flair for the dramatics. It helped me manipulate people so effortlessly.
I saw her expression sadden a bit, but to my surprise, I also saw another emotion in her eyes.
Was it Sympathy?
No.
It was Empathy. She had felt it too. This pain I spoke about.

"It must have been hard for both off you." She said softly.
"Both off Us?" I asked confused.
"Yeah, both of you. You too, must have been through some hardships in life. Otherwise, you wouldn't have been able to tell his story the way you did." She said giving me a slight smile to cheer me up.
She reached out and gently placed her palm over my knuckles.
"Look, I know a thing or two about being scarred and broken. I don't know if I'll have the best advice, but I'll definitely be glad to lend a ear."

I couldn't help but admire her. She was......winsome.
"Thanks Mavis."
I really do hope Taehyung doesn't kill you too.
It would truly be such a shame.

MAVIS's POV-:

Once we reached the mansion, I stepped out of the car and took out the three gift bags I  got. One for Anders, one for Mrs Stevenson, and of course, one for Taehyung.
"Jungkook, I'm gonna drop off the gifts real quick, then I'll come help you with the rest of the bags."
"Ok." He said and I walked into the mansion, headed straight for the kitchen.
"Mrs. Stevenson, I got something for....." I stopped, when I saw Anders in the kitchen instead.

"Oh, welcome back Miss Stone. Mrs Stevenson is back in her quarters, napping. How was the shopping spree?" He asked cheerfully.
"Exhausting! But hey, I got a little something for you Anders." I said excitedly giving him the gift bag. He opens it, to find a box of Swiss candy, his favourite ones. He'd mentioned how he missed his being in Switzerland, and how he loved this particular candy, as it was a taste of home.

"Thank you so much Miss Stone, but you really didn't have to."
"Oh shush! You've looked after me so well, it's the least I could do."
He smiled and spoke.
"I shall cherish this. Let me put it in my room. I'll tell Mr Kim your home." I nodded.
"Thanks."
I left Mrs Stevenson's gift bag on the kitchen counter, and was about to head back outside to help Jungkook, when I felt something furry rub again my calf.

I turned and looked down, only to fun Yeontan, Taehyung's adorable Pomerania.
"Hey there little guy. You hungry?" I asked patting his forehead.
He licked my fingers and looked at me with his puppy dog eyes.
"Where's your dad? I got him something." I asked in a baby voice. Yeontan barked playfully, wagging his tail.
"Ok." I chuckled.
"So you do Know where he is?" I asked earning another cute bark.
Yeontan started walking away, I saw his fluffy tail as he walked. He turned to see if I followed, and when I didn't, he barked again, beckoningly.

I was confused, but maybe he wanted me to let him out or something.
"I'm coming." I said as I started following him.
He led me to a secluded wing of the mansion. One that was alien to me. I looked around, drinking it all in.
There were painting, and deer heads hanging on the wall.
But what spooked me out was Yeontan standing in front of a wooden door, with chipped paint.
Oh wait! I remember now! I've been here before, well kind of. Taehyung was giving me a tour of the mansion, and we had briefly stopped by here. We didn't bother exploring too much since I was tired.

He'd told me there were painting and stuff, and a wooden door leading to his basement, where he kept old antiques and had his wine cellar.
So why does Yeontan want to go to the basement. Maybe he confused it for another door.
"Hey buddy, there's nothing down there. Let's go back ok?" I said sweetly.
But he barked in retaliation and started scratching at the door.
I started getting slightly impatient so I decided to open the door so that he could see for himself that there was nothing.

I opened the door and saw a staircase. Before I could say or do anything, Yeontan scurried down the stairs.
"Hey wait! Yeontan!" I called out, but he was down already. Without a second thought I followed.
At the base of the staircase there was a broad and long corridor.
Doors on each side. Five to be precise.
This place was bigger than I would have imagined.
I saw Yeontan at a distance, poking his snout through the slightly open door at the very end.

I walked towards him, but the closer I got, the louder the sound of a huffing and panting male got.
"Fuck!" I heard a moan. I knew that voice.
I stood in front of the door and peeped inside.
There he was! TAEHYUNG!
I gasped at the sight my eyes witnessed. There were four open coffins. I could see three dead bodies of women, completely pale, and blue.
One coffin was empty. I gathered all my courage and glanced at the bed.

I saw it.
The fourth body.
And I saw him, hovered over it. He was butt naked.
His groans got louder, as he kept thrusting faster and faster, like a ferocious animal.
I didn't even realise I was crying till my tears blurred my vision.
"Fuck.....Mavis!" He roared, probably reaching his orgasm.
I covered my mouth in horror and disgust.
How could he. No, this can't be happening. This isn't real!

'He's a Freak! Holy Fuck this is hot!'
Are you insane! He's a monster! He's a murderer. He's going to kill me!
'I told you, he seemed sketchy from the beginning. What are you going to do now sweet little Mavis?'

I sobbed. Louder than I intended to.
Taehyung immediately turned around and here I was, face to face with the Devil.
"Mavis." My name escapes his lips, only crushing me more.
"You-you're.....you're....a.....Mmon-Monster..." I cried, completely shattered.
"Mavis. Please. I....I can explain." He said guiltily. As he started getting off the bed.
I panicked.
'RUN! YOU NAIVE BITCH! RUN!!!'
Without wasting another second, I bolted.
"MAVIS!" Heard him yell my name.
I had to get out of this basement.

I ran up the staircase, opened the door, but gasped in fear when I saw Jungkook standing right outside.
"I see you got lost Mavis." He said smirking ominously.
"Mavis!" I turned, only to see Taehyung standing at the bottom of the staircase in his boxers.
Shit. I was trapped.
Before I could react, Jungkook held my body firmly, trapping me in his grip.
"Noo! Stop!" I squealed.

Taehyung walked up to me, stopping one step below.
"Oh Mavis tsk tsk tsk." He clicked his tongue. His finger gently traced my cheek. He leaned closer and whispered in my ear.
"Don't you know, Curiosity, always kills the Cat."
Before I could say anything else, I felt a sharp, stinging pain in my neck.
I yelped in pain.
"Shhhh. It's all going to be ok now. Go to sleep angel. I've got you.
AND I AM NEVER LETTING YOU GO."
He cooed in my ear as I passed out into his arms and everything turned black.
