Part 13

POV: It was night. Derek moved and after seconds he opened his eyes. He turned his head to the left and saw Meredith sleeping.

-"Mer...." Said Derek with a sleepy voice

Meredith jumped off her chair.

-"Derek."Said Meredith

-"What happened?" Asked Derek confused

-" You were in a car crash." Said Meredith

-" I remember leaving the bar and driving. Then i saw a light and then...then nothing else." Said Derek

Meredith hugged him tight and kissed him.

-" Thank god you are okay."Said Meredith with tears of joy in her face

-" Its okay, im okay."Said Derek 

-" You are okay." Said Meredith smiled at him and hugged him again

-" Can i have some water?" Asked Derek

-" Yes, and lets page Nelson to check on you." Said Meredith

-" Nelson? Why? Did i hit my head?" Asked Derek

-" Well....you...you had a brain bleed and a mild swelling and...and you were in coma for 7 days." Answered Meredith

-" 7 days? Oh god." Said Derek

After a few minutes Dr.Nelson entered the room.

-" Here he is. I told you Meredith. He doesn't give up so easily. So, Shepherd follow the pen for me. Thats great. Do you remember what month we have?" Asked Nelson

-"I would have to say winter cause your sweater is thicker than my skin." Said Derek laughing

-"And i would have to say you're right. Glad you didn't lose your humor. Can you tell me who that pretty girl is?" Asked Nelson

-" How couldn't i?" Said Derek, looked at her and smiled

-" Perfect. You look fine. We will take you for new scans, the swelling must be gone. If it is you will stay here two days and then you can go home." Said Nelson

-"Okay, thank you." Said Meredith as Nelson was leaving

-"You missed me right?" Asked Derek

-"Of course i did idiot. Lets call Cristina and Mark and then we can talk." Said Meredith and called them

-" So how did i crashed?" Asked Derek

-" You don't remember?" Asked Meredith

-" Not well. I only remember leaving the bar." Replied Derek " I was mad, i remember that too, but i don't remember why i was mad."

-"Well...you...uhm..you came to the bar and you...you probably heard me in the men's toilets...with...with some guy." Said Meredith

-" Ohh yes, i remember that." Said Derek and looked away.

-" Derek i'm sorry but we have just broke up and i was mad and..."

-" No you know what? you don't have to apologize, we were broken up, from my mistake, i get it. In fact i wasn't mad that you went with someone else, i just don't want other men to touch you, thats all." Said Derek
