Once Again - MerDer

Part 14

POV: Derek just kissed Meredith passionately, trying to show her how much he want her. His one hand is grabbing her waist bringing her closer to him while the other is caressing her hair.
Unfortunately for him, Meredith pulled him away although they both knew, that, that wasn't what she really wanted to do.

-"Derek stop." Said Meredith trying to recover from that kiss she has missed so much.

-"You don't want me to stop." Said Derek

She stood up, grabbed the plates, went to the sink and started washing the dishes.

-"Come on Meredith, are we going to pretend you didn't like that?" Asked Derek while his was approaching her

Meredith stayed silent.

-"Well at least tell me you didn't so i don't do it again. Did you like it or not?" Whispered to her ear and placed his hands on the counter, so that Meredith was trapped between his hands and he started kissing her neck.

Meredith was heavily breathing, trying not to turn around and kiss him as she wanted to, when she tilted her head to the side giving Derek more space to kiss her

-"I will take this as a yes." Said Derek

-"Derek stop." Said Meredith confused about her feelings, not knowing what was right and what was wrong.

-"Okay okay but we will talk about this later."Said Derek

-"I don't have something to say. I have to take a shower." Said Meredith and went upstairs

Derek stayed in the kitchen trying not to thing about Meredith naked in the shower when they were all alone in the house. After 15 minutes Meredith got out of the shower and went in her room to dress up when Derek accidentally got in without nocking the door and saw her naked.

-"Derek. Get out. Im naked." Said Meredith

-"So? I've seen you naked it before." Chuckled Derek

She then grab the towel and covered her body.

-"But now we are not together. You have to knock before you come in, thats how it goes, there are some rules, we are not taking showers together, we are not see each other naked and definitely we are not kissing." Said Meredith trying not to laugh as she knew that these were things impossible not to happen when they were alone in the house

-"Okay, although i like kissing you, but just so you now, i don't have a problem seeing you naked." Said Derek laughing

-"But i have." Chuckled Meredith and pushed him out of the room closing the door behind him.

When Meredith got dressed and went downstairs, Derek was watching tv.

-"How do you feel?" Asked Meredith

-"Uhmm... not very good." Replied Derek

-"What? Why? Does your head hurts or are you dizzy." Asked Meredith terrified

-"My crush don't want me. It hurts you know, but to be honest i heard that a kiss really makes the pain go away."Said Derek

-"Haha very funny. Don't do this again. You scared me." Said Meredith

-"Okay." Chuckled Derek

-"Im going to order pasta, what do you want?" Asked Meredith

-"The usual." He answered

While Meredith was ordering she looked at him watching tv and she remembered the old days when she and Derek were chilling in couch eating pasta. She was feeling that again. The comfort between them. It was something Meredith had felt for the first time with Derek and she was missing it.

-"George has a night shift, you can sleep on his bed tonight." Said Meredith

-"Why? Aren't we going to sleep together?" Asked Derek

-"Oh i yes i forgot." Said Meredith

-"What?" Asked Derek confused

-"Sleeping separate is one of the rules too." Said Meredith

-"Ohh the rules, well we do not have so many beds so we will necessarily sleep together." Said Derek

-"Well as i said, George has a night shift so you can sleep on his bed." Chuckled Meredith

-"This is only for tonight, so tomorrow..."

-"I don't know yet but i'm going to figure something out. Maybe i can sleep on the couch." Said Meredith

-"Theres no way you sleeping here, its your house, if, and only if you think its necessary, then i will sleep on the couch." Said Derek

-"You were in the hospital for seven days, theres no way you sleeping in the couch." Said Meredith

They both sat on the couch watching tv and when the food arrived they started eating. After hours Izzie was back from the hospital.

-"Hey guys." Said Izzie

-"Hey, theres pasta if you want." Said Derek

-"Oh thank god." Said Izzie and started eating

-"Im going to take a shower." Said Derek

-"Tell me if you need anything. The towels are..."

-"I know." Said Derek and went upstairs

-"How did it go?" Asked Izzie

-"Well I don't know how we didn't end up in bed, but the rest of the days will be very difficult." Replied Meredith laughing

-"Sure they will." Said Izzie laughing

-" He is hitting on me, all the time, its the only think he does, he even kissed me, oh yeah i forgot to tell you, well he kissed me."

-"What? What did you do?" Asked Izzie socked but laughing.

-"I pulled him, what should i do?"

-"Uhm, i don't know, kiss him back?" Said Izzie

-"Its wrong, he almost died because we broke up and now we are going to start it again? No way." Said Meredith

-"Well i don't know but sure you cant keep avoiding him for six more days." Said Izzie

-"I can. I just won't let him kiss me again and the rest is easy." Said Meredith

-"Because if he kiss you, you will kiss him back and then god stop you two."

-"Thats what i'm saying. I just have to not let him kiss me." Said Meredith

-"Mer, im sorry but i don't think you can do it." Laughed Izzie

-"Come on, i sure can."

-"Okay, six days." Said Izzie

-"Six days what?" Asked Meredith

-"I give you six days with him in the same house without kissing. Bet you cant do it."

-"Shhh, he is coming." Said Meredith and then she whispered to Izzie's ear. "Bet."

The only thing they didn't know is that Derek have heard all about the bet, something that made him wanna do it even more difficult for her.
