Part 17

POV: Meredith went to Derek because she felt bad about what she said to him. She stayed out of his door for a while took a deep breath and then she knocked the door.

-"Derek." Said Meredith

-"What?"

-"Can we talk?"

-"I don't have anything else to say." Answered Derek

-"Please." Said Meredith

Derek got off the bed and opened the door.

-"What do you want?" He asked

-"Before....in the kitchen.....i didn't mean that i didn't want these moments to happen." Said Meredith looking sorry

-"Then what?" Asked Derek

-"I just...i did want them....but...."

-"But. Theres always a but. You always have a problem with something and you use it as an excuse not to be with me."

-"You are the last person to talk about excuses. At first i learned about your wife and you said you were broken up, then you cheated on me......" Said Meredith mad

-"I said sorry, and i meant it, i am still sorry i did this, but you still come back to it, although we both know it doesn't bother you so much, you still use it as an excuse because you cant admit that you cant be in a relationship. You cant handle something like that right now but you cant admit it to yourself. Thats why we cant be together." Said Derek in a high tone

-"The reason why we cant be together is because i cant trust you anymore."Yelled Meredith

-"You cant trust me, i get it, but you have to understand that you are the one who always leave. With the first difficulty, you run away, with the first fight you run away, and thats not my fault, so i'm done chasing you Meredith, i really am."Said Derek. They started yelling at each other more.

-"I never asked you to chase me."

-"But i did it, not once, not twice, all the time, even if its my fault, even if its your fault,i'm the one to say sorry first so we can be back together because i love you, but i cant keep doing this, i cant, i'm tired."

-"Well then don't." Said Meredith

-"Im not gonna do it, and you know why? because i know that by the moment we'll be fine, you are going to find another reason to break up with me, because you clearly don't know what you want right know."Said Derek in a higher tone and hit his hand on the door

-"Can we calm down please?" Said Meredith

-"At this moment you have to think about what you really want, because breaking up every second day is not going anywhere." Said Derek really calm

-"Okay, we can talk about this when we we will be calmer, but come sleep in my bed because George is going to come back from hospital and he will want to sleep."

-"I will leave the room when he comes." Said Derek and closed the door behind him.

The rest of the night passed quickly.

DAY 3

At 7a.m George and Izzie came back from work. They ate breakfast in the kitchen and went upstairs to sleep. George went to his room and when he got in, he saw Derek there, meanwhile Meredith woke up from the noise and got out of her room.
When Derek saw George he immidiately got up.

-"Don't worry i'll sleep on the couch." Said Derek

-"Weren't you sleeping with Mer?" Asked George
