Chapter 25-Is he sleeping?

Penelope's Point Of View:

"Come on,princess! You can do it!" Me and Cara played tag on the backyard.

Cara laughed and catches me.

"Hah! I got you,momma!"

"Yes,you did baby girl." I took her up and kissed her cheek.

"I love you,momma." Cara smiled and me and kisses my cheek.

"I love you too,my princess."

"And I love you too,peanut." I put Cara down and she kissed my huge belly,or it wasn't huge. Just big.
I was now 8 months and 3 weeks. So soon 9.

8 months without being with him. 8 months without hearing his voice. 8 months without his hugs and kisses. Not hearing those 'I love you's in the morning.

Oh, baby I miss you more and more everyday.

Jason was still in coma. The doctors said that if he doesn't wake up soon,they'll have to shut it down.

"Come on, let's visit daddy." I took her hand and we walked to the front yard and into the car. Yes Cara does know that Jason is in the hospital, but I decided to keep the 'coma thing' out.

It took a little while to drive there. When we reached the hospital, Cara had fallen asleep so I just got to carry her on my hip. I kissed her cheek as we walked in through the doors.

"Hi, Penelope." Sarah said.

Sarah was the receptionist, we've become friends under the time that I've been visiting Jason.

I smiled at her as I walked to the elevator. Then I clicked on the second level and waited.

I hummed as I was looking for room '285'. When I found it,I knocked gently. Even though I knew that no one was probably there.

There he was. On his hospital bed. He looked so precious,my poor little baby. I placed Cara on a sofa that was in the room and placed a blanket over her. Then I sat down on the chair that was beside Jason's bed. I took his hand in mine as a few tears rolled down my cheeks.

I miss him so much.

For the rest of the time I was there, I talked to him. Even though if I don't know if he's listening or not but it felt so much better when I talked out like this. When he was here, he would always listen. He was a good listener.
Sure I could talk to Phoebe,but she's busy with something else and I didn't want to bother her with my feelings. I know, I know she's my bestfriend but it didn't feel right.

"Mommy?" I looked up from Jason and to Cara.

"Yes,sweetie?" Cara sighed and walked up to me. I lifted her up so she sat down on my lap.

"Why is daddy here? And why isn't he talking anymore? Is he sleeping?"

"Uhm.. Sweetheart,it's hard to explain. But let's just say he's sleeping." Cara smiled and kissed her daddy's cheek.

"Let's go home." I gave Jason a light kiss on his lips before walking away. But something stopped me, the machine started to get crazy, Jason started to breath fast and suddenly he was awake.

Sorry for not updating for about a week.

I've been soo busy and I'm in lot of pain right now, but other than that I'm fine.
