Extra: Part 7

"Mommy?" The little girl said.  Uhm.. what? Jason picked her up and kissed her cheek.

"Cara,no."

"But mommy-" Cara started.

"Mommy is gone." With that said Jason walked away to another room. I frowned.

Why did she say mommy? Actually now that she said it, where are their mom? I woke up from my thoughts by Ashton laying his head on my shoulder.

"Mmm...mommaa...mom." Ashton mumbled with his finger in his mouth. What the hell?

"But mommy-" Cara started but I cut her off with:

"Mommy is gone." And then I walked upstairs to mine and Penelope's bedroom.

"Mommy not gone,m-momm-y downstairs!" Cara started to cry and started to hit me with her small fists.

"Baby, no." I said and placed my hand on the back of her head to gently lay her head on my shoulder. After a couple of minutes she started to fall asleep again so I walked over to her bedroom and placed her on the bed with a comforter over head.

"I'm sorry,my princess." I whispered and kissed her cheek. After that I went downstairs again where Penelope was with our babies.

She was sitting in the dining room with the twins in their chairs while feeding them with baby food.

"Oh,what a good boy you are!" Penelope said with a smile on her face while feeding Ashton. I stood by the door frame and watched them. I bet the boys missed their mommy.

FLASHBACK

"Oh,Ashton. Please stop crying." I said and kissed his forehead. It was hell to put Chase to sleep and I hope it would be easier for Ashton but nooo. I tried everything to get Ashton to stop crying but nothing fucking worked.

I wished she was here.

"C'mon Ashy, be a good boy for daddy and go to sleep." I said and gently bounced Ashton up and down to make him calm.

I walked to my bedroom and closed the door so Cara and Chase wouldn't wake up. Damn how could Penelope do this when she had Cara?

"Mmm..Mummmm..." Ashton mumbled and made grabby hands towards the picture frame on Penelope that was on my nightstand. I frowned and sat down on the bed and gave Ashton the frame on his mother. He instantly stopped crying and just let out a small whine.

"I miss her too,buddy." I said and kissed his head as I felt a lonely tear falling down on my cheek.

PRESENT

Chase started to whine because Penelope didn't pay as much attention on him as on Ashton.

"Here you go,baby boy." Penelope said and fed Chase.

"Oh,hey Jason. Maria gave me the baby food to feed these two cuties,I hope you don't mind." She said and looked at me with those hazel brown eyes that made me melt everytime.

"No,absolutely not. I actually appreciate it since it's always a hassle for me but I guess they seem to like you." I said and rubbed my neck.

Of course they like her,she's their mother,I thought.

"How old are they?"

"They are going to be 3 soon." I replied and smiled. Damn my boys are getting big.

"Where is Cara?" Penelope said and looked around.

"Uhm...she was feeling very tired so she's sleeping right now." I smiled nervously.

"Dada...sleepy." Ashton said and rubbed his eyes. I picked up Ashton and gave him his bottle with milk that was on the table.

"Can you please take Chase and take his bottle with you? Maria will clean that up later." I said and she answered with a nod. Chase laid his head on her shoulder while holding the bottle with his small chubby hands. I started to walk upstairs where their room where.

When we finally reached their room,I placed Ashton gently in his crib with his bottle in his mouth and of course a picture of Penelope. I know it sounds weird but that's the only way he can fall asleep.

Fuck, I hope Penelope doesn't notice.

"Good night,babies." Penelope said and kissed Chase's chubby cheek. Right when I turned around Penelope said something unexpected.

"Why does Ashton have a picture of me?"
