Chapter 8-Coming home

Penelope's Point Of View:

Jason was in the bathroom changing to his clothes. Today was the day he was going home with me. Cara was in the park with Phoebe so I didn't have anything to worry about.

Jason had recovered so he could walk again. He had been in the hospital for a few weeks so he finally was going home today.

"Penelope are you ready?" I looked over my shoulder to see that Jason was dressed in a black T-shirt,jeans,his hat,his black Supras and then his hoodie. I kind of felt girly today so I have on a white crop top,a skirt with a cute pattern on it,a bracelet and a necklace with my white low top converse.

Me and Jason signed the papers and then we were free to go.

"I'm driving." Jason took the keys out of my hands when I texted Phoebe.

"I'm not going to let you drive when you just got out of the hospital. So give me the keys."

"No."

"Please,Jason?"

"No I'm driving end of the conversation ."

I groaned and got my seat belt on.

"So where are you going next?"

"I actually don't know. The guys are home last time I called them."

"Oh that's nice."

Jason took my left hand on his big one and kissed my knuckles. He was romantic like that.

"But I've decided to stay with my family for a little while."

"How's Cara doing?"

"She's good. Phoebe took her to the park so I guess they are having fun."

He nodded slowly.

"Will you let me meet her?"

"Mommy Mommy!" Cara ran into my arms with her Cinderella doll.

"I missed you momma." She said as she snuggled into my neck. I kissed her cheek and hugged her back as I twisted her pig tails with my finger.

"I hungry momma," Cara's blue eyes looked into mine and pouted.

"Okay,princess. What do you want?"

"Ice cream!"

"You guys were in the park, haven't you eaten ice cream yet?"

"Uhm..no?" She looked around and her arms were behind her back.

"I will give you ice cream if  you go and put all the toys were they belong in the living room. Deal?"

"But mommy..."

"No cleaning,No ice cream." 

Cara huffed and stomped her way to the living room to clean. But we all know that she won't be getting any ice cream.

"What are you cooking?"

I looked behind my shoulder only to see Jason with a towel around his waist as he was drying his hair with another towel.

"Ohmygod Jason!"

"Like what you see?" He winked and came closer to me.

"Jason we have a 3 year old in the room next to us. Go and put on clothes."

"What if I don't?"

"You won't get steak." I stuck out my toung at him as he grasped.

"That's not fair!"

"It is! So go and put on some clothes!" He laughed and kissed my cheek. After that Cara ran into the room with a smile on her face.

"Momma! I found my Snowhite doll that I lost!"

"Where did you find it?"

"Under the coach!" Cara spun around and around as she laughed. I shook my head as I laid out the plates for the dinner.

"Where's the ice cream?"

"Well, I have to admit that you did a great job in the living room but.."

"But what mommy?"

"We won't be eating Ice cream since you already did that." I poked her sides as she whined.

"Buuut Mommyyy!" She let out small tears but we all know that she didn't mean it. So when this happens I just give her the silent treatment.

"JASON! THE FOOD IS READY!"

"I'M COMING!" Moments after that Jason came down with a pair of sweatpants on his waists and a black t-shirt.

"Who's this?"

"Don't you remember him,honey?" Cara shook her head confused.

"Well,let's eat dinner first." Cara nodded and sat down on a chair and Jason did it as well.

"Cara what did you do with auntie Phoebe?"

"We were in park! And I got a new friend!"

"That's fun. What did you do before that?"

"Me and auntie Phoebe were playing with dolls."

"Can I pick a movie,mommy?" I nodded as I got the candy and the popcorn ready.

"Jason! Can you help me?" He came behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist as I grinned.

"Get the coke in the fridge." He did as I said and we walked to the living room with everything. Cara jumped on the couch as she held a DVD in her hands.

"Let's watch Tangled!"

"Cara can we talk first?"
