I swiped to the right on the screen and put the phone to my ear.

"Hello?"

"Hi,honey! How are you?" My moms sweet voice came through.

"I'm fine. Did you want something?" I said.

"Oh yeah! I was just wondering if you were busy next week?"

"No, I don't think so, why?" I answered.

"Well ,me and your aunt Nichole planned on going to LA this week. So we thought it would be nice if we could have a nice family dinner and maybe you can invite Ryan!" Mom said with excitement. She adored Ryan like he was her own son.

I sighed and said:

"Mom... me and Ryan broke up a long time ago."

"What? Why!"

"It just did not work out." I shrugged even though I knew she could not see me.

"I'm sorry to hear that but maybe you can invite someone else? Like that young boy I saw you with!"

"What are you talking about?" I think she's gone mad!

"Oh Penelope! You know what I'm talking about! That handsome boy with brown hair that you have been spending time with."

"How do you know that?" I asked.

"Phoe-I mean... I don't know. Isn't the weather nice?"

I turned around to see Phoebe sitting on the couch while playing with her phone. She looked up and saw me giving her the finger.

"Ops." She mouthed and shrugged.

"It would be really lovely to meet my honey bun again, she is so cute! Just like you! I wished that I could squeeze your chee-"

"Ugh, mom! Fine! When will you be here?"

"Around Tuesday morning maybe 7-ish in the morning. And we're flying home Saturday morning." I know that she was smiling right now.

"Just call me before you get here, ok? I have to go mom."

"Yes of course! Where are you going?" Mom said.

"Me and Phoebe is going to the mall."

"Have fun!" And with that I hung up.

"Finally! I have been waiting for like forever!" Phoebe threw her arms in up.

"It's been five min-"

"LET'S GO!"

Phoebe suddenly pressed her foot hard on the break and let out a gasp. The car stopped and I looked at Phoebe

"What the hell, Phoebe!"

"But look ! What the fuck is he doing with her!" Phoebe pointed a bit to the left.

It was Jason and Cara, with someone else.

"Calm down,  they're probably just friends." I said. There was no need to start going crazy just because he is with another woman.

"Yeah, right! Call him!"

"For what reason? We are not together! He can go out with whoever he wants, ok? Now. let's go cause I have some cash to burn."

"But Penny!"

"What was that? Is that you Victoria's Secrets?"After I said that, I took my purse and jumped out of the car. I entered the mall and went straight to Victoria's Secrets. Not too long after I entered the store, Phoebe came.

"I swear to God, if he is trying to break your heart I'm go-" Phoebe started.

"You clearly did not listen to what I said in the car: me and Jason is not together and will never be together." I said. Like if!

"I thought your mom said not to lie. Can't you just admit that you're feeling at least something?" I shook my head and proceed to look around the store.

"He is your baby daddy, Penelope. And I hate to admit it but he is really hot, like Adonis!"

"What are you trying to say? That I am stupid? Of course I know that he is the father to my daughter. Ugh, can we please not talk about this right now?" I begged to Phoebe and she sighed.

"Ok ,I am sorry." She hugged me from behind while I was trying to decide whether I wanted pink or grey.

Jason's Point Of View:

"Come on Cara!"

"I'm coming,daddy!"

I loved it when she calls me that. Daddy. We were going to the beach for awhile while Ryan and the boys decided to head out to the park,I don't know what they're doing there but I don't give a shit. It wasn't a long walk to the beach so we headed out of the door and turned left.

"Jason?" A familiar voice said behind me. I turned around and saw Sarah, one of my boys girlfriend.

"Oh, Sarah? what are you doing here?"

"I was actually going to hang out with Dy- who is this little cutie pie ?" She crouched to Cara's level.

"This is Cara,Cara this is auntie Sarah." I introduced them to each other.

"Hi-i auntie." Her cheeks turned red and she looked at the ground.

"Aww,don't be shy!" Sarah said.

"Well,where are you guys heading to?" She then asked.

"We're going to the beach. Do you wanna come?" I asked.

"I don't want to crash the daddy-daughter tim-"

"When have I ever heard you say 'no'?"

"Okay then!" Sarah took Cara's hand and we continued to walk.

When we finally reached the beach I saw the boys playing around with sand. Idiots.

"Sarah!" Dylan ran towards us slowly,like slow motion,Sarah did the same. That's why they get along so good,because both of them are weird.

"Daddy,can you help me?" Cara stretched her arms up and I took off the yellow sundress that she had on.

"Come on,daddy!" She took a grip on my shirt and tried to drag me into the water. I smiled and lift her up and blew a raspberry on her stomach. She laughed and tried to tickle me,but we all knew that that was not going to work on me.

I started running towards the water and was going trick her that I was going to throw her in the water.

"No daddy! Stop!" Cara giggled and wrapped her arms around my neck as hard as she could.

"Daddy will stop if you give me a kiss." I said and puckered my lips.

"I only give mommy kisses." Cara said.

"Why?"

"Cause boys are nasty!" Cara kicked with her legs and tried to escape from my arms.

"We can get ice cream later, can I get a kiss now?"

"Only if you say please!"
