"Oh really?" I said nervously. Did she notice that?

"Yeah,it was weird." Cara sat in the backseat with her iPad playing dress up while I drove back to our house in L.A Phoebe was visiting her parents in Cali so it's just going to be me and Cara in our condo for a little while.

"Honey,do you want to stop at 7Eleven ?"

"Yes!" She wasted no time to look out at the window as I parked on a gas station. I carried Cara and locked the car.

"Pick out what you want to eat in the car and take a few snack if you want to." Then Cara ran of somewhere in the store,picking out what she wanted to eat. 3 minutes later Cara came back with sausages in a package,a drink and a few of her favorite snacks. We waited in line until it was our turn.

"Is that you,Penelope?" A familiar voice from behind said so I turned around and met the same blue eyes that Ryan has.

"Ryan? What are you doing here?" I paid for the stuff as I got them in a 7Eleven bag.

"I was actually driving to your place. Where have you been?"

"I told you already,I was going to my parents."

"No you didn't!"

"Yes I did! I called to your office but you were on a meeting so I left a message!"

"Why didn't I get it then?"

"Honey,it's late come on." I said as I tried to take Cara to bed.

"Nooo! Mommy it's only 8. Daddy says that I can go to bed at 9."

"Honey,it doesn't matter what Ryan says. Now let's go to bed so I can read your favorite story okay?" Cara sighed and nodded. Then I carried her as a baby and walked up the stairs. I laid Cara on the bed and took the comforter over her and then took the book beside her.

"No mommy. I want to know how you and daddy met." Lately she has asked about Ryan. I don't know if she miss him or..?

"Cara, what me and Ryan did is the past."

"But mommy! Why haven't I met daddy in a week? Doesn't he love me anymore,momma?" The tears streamed down on her cheeks and all I could do is to hug her. Soon she fell asleep with her teddy bear in her arms. I stroked her hair and kissed her forehead before I went to sleep.

"Momma!! Wakie wakie!" Cara then jumped around on my bed.

"Cara,darling why did you wake me up now? Huh?"

"There's a man there." She whispered and pointed on the door where.. Jason stood?

"Jason? What are you doing here?" I quickly jumped out of the bed and took the white robe that was beside my bed to cover up the small white tank top that showed my cleavege and the pink shorts,very short actually.

"Why are you even here in L.A?"

"I'm actually here for a gang meeting but I wanted to see you before I go."

"How did you find me?" I carried Cara downstairs to give her breakfast as Jason followed behind me.
