The next 3 days went by in a blur, it was already August 30th.

I had only left my room a total of 2 times and throughout the boredom, ended up looking through my school books that Dumbledore collected for me. I read about Hogwarts and what it was, I tried to read a book that was furry and had teeth but it practically bit my hand off.

I tried doing a few spells that were in the books, and considering the large pile of ashes on my floor, I don't think I was doing anything right.

After the words began to float off the pages, I decided to look around the building. I quickly got dressed, said goodbye to Zeus, then began the expedition.

In comparison to the dusty room I resided in, the ground out here wasn't in great condition either, there were rather concerning cracks spidering throughout the floorboards.

I aimlessly walked forward, my eyes glued to the floor to prevent myself from tripping on a crack.

I realized quickly that doing so meant I wasn't looking out ahead of me. Within seconds I came face-first into someone's chest.

I was beginning to tumble to the ground but before I could make it, a hand reached out and pulled me back up. My body instantly tensed.

"I'm so sorry. I wasn't even paying attention." I glanced up and saw two identical redhead boys. They both had a bright smile glued on their faces, and one of them stepped forward.

"Well, well, well. So you are the mystery girl we keep hearing about. I'm Fred, and this ugly thing is George."

I looked between the two boys and squinted at them then nodded to myself.

"Nope. You are George and this is Fred." I gave them a satisfied smile.

"Fred! Did you hear that?! She knew! How did she know?!" He turned to his brother and screamed. Fred eyed me suspiciously before bringing his gaze to his brother.

"George it seems you are right. Tell us, how did you do it?" Fred questioned, slinging his arm around his brother.

"Simple. If I had a twin I would definitely switch places with one another," I admitted. "Oh I'm Ara Hayes by the way."

"Interesting. I've never heard of an Ara Hayes in Hogwarts. Have you Fred?" George asked his brother.

"You know what George, I don't think I have," he responded thoughtfully, stroking his chin.

I stood awkwardly, waiting for them to let me pass.

"Will you be attending Hogwarts this year?" He finally asked.

"What- Oh, yeah," I shrugged as I tried stepping around to walk past them.

They both moved over to block my way, they looked at each other and smirked in sync.

"Well, Gred and Forge, really great meeting you but I should-."

"Nicknames already? I think you deserve a proper introduction, Blondie. Fred, would you like the honors?"

I looked at the boys in confusion but was then lifted off the ground and thrown over Fred's shoulders.

"What the hell?! Put me down!" I squirmed around, trying to get free.
