Narrator POV (while editing this, I realize this is an unnecessary change in perspective but I don't feel like completely rewriting the chapter. Sorryyy)

"Does it hurt terribly Draco?" Ara heard Pansy Parkinson coo from the table across from her. It had been 4 whole weeks since Draco's little stunt in Care of Magical Creatures and he was still making the biggest deal out of it.

Ara decided to sit with the Gryffindors today, having enough of his whining.

Syd was lying in bed sick, because apparently Witches and Wizards can still get sick. Isn't there like a spell or potion for that? So there was really no reason for her to sit at her table.

"It comes and it goes. Still, I consider myself lucky."

Ara scoffed at them. Lucky? He barely got scratched!

"Madam Pomfrey said another minute and I could've lost my arm. I couldn't do homework for weeks."

"Now that was a lie. I was there when Pomfrey 'diagnosed' Draco. She practically swatted him out the second he got there," Ara ranted irritably.

Harry turned his head to the girl."Why were you in the hospital wing?"

Ara simply shrugged and stabbed her food with her fork.

"Just listen to the idiot. He is really laying it on thick, isn't he?" Sneered Ron, taking a seat next to Hermione. He grimaced when he saw the grey-eyed girl at the table. "Why is she here?"

"Well good morning to you too, Ronald," Ara responded sweetly.

"At least Hagrid didn't get fired," noted Harry, breaking up what was probably going to be the start of an argument.

"Yeah but I hear Draco's father isn't too happy. I'm sure we haven't heard the end of this," Hermione added.

"I honestly don't get why everyone's making such a fuss out of it. I mean if one of you were to accidentally- wait never mind. You guys literally ran into a three-headed dog during your first year here. No one would be shocked if one of you got scratched." Ara shook her head while the others chuckled. "Seriously though, what is up with you guys and getting yourselves into trouble every year?"

Hermione turned to her curiously, "Wait, Ara, how is it you know about the dog and the chambers?"

"Fred and George filled me in."

She took another bite of toast.

"I didn't know you guys were friends," Ron remarked, clearly upset.

"Yeah," agreed Harry, nodding his head. Ara found it funny that they were so interested in her personal life. At least Ronald is actually talking to her.

"Don't get your knickers in a twist. We've been friends since the Leaky Cauldron, they were one of the first people I met here. They introduced me to everyone. Very unwillingly might I add."

"Talking about us, are we?" Said a chorus of voices behind Ara. She turned and saw George, Fred, and Lee all standing there with their arms strung over each other's shoulders.
