Everyone seemed to have ignored what Ron said, mainly because it was impossible for me to help him into the castle if I was with them all night.

People opened their doors and walked down to the common room confused as to what all the noise was while Fred came bursting out of his dorm.

"Excellent, are we carrying on?" He said brightly, making me stifle back a laugh, despite the serious situation.

"Everyone back to bed now!" Said Percy, running into the common room, pinning his head boy badge to his pajamas in the process.

"Perc- Sirius Black!" Ron said faintly, waving his hands around in distress, "In my dormitory! With a knife! Woke me up!"

The common room went very still. My heart faltered for a moment.

What if he's telling the truth. What if my father actually tried to kill him?

"Nonsence," Percy reasoned, "Ron you've just had- too much to eat."

Mcgonagall is back now. She looked furious, even more so than earlier. "I thought I said enough! I don't fancy being woken up every hour to deal with you a lot. I am glad Gryffindor won the match but this is outrageous! I expected better from you Percy."

"I didn't tell them to do this! I was instructing them to go back upstairs!" huffed Percy. "My brother here, Ron, had a nightmare-'

"IT WASN'T A NIGHTMARE! SIRIUS BLACK WAS IN MY ROOM WITH A KNIFE! IT WASN'T A DREAM!"

"Ron calm down. We can't understand you if you're screaming like a child when you take their favourite toy," I told the red head.

"Ara, not now. Mr. Weasely. That is impossible. How would he even get into the common room?" Questioned Minnie. Making the others in the room nod agreeingly.

It was an outrageous accusation but nothing here is really impossible.

"Well I don't bloody know! Ask him!" Ron pointed to the portrait, shakily. Mcgonagal sighed before easing over to it. The students in the common room all watched her carefully. She stepped out of the portrait hole and we all went silent to listen in.

"Sir Cadogan? Did you see a man enter the common room?"

"Certainly, good lady."

My breath hitched in my throat. He was here.

"You- You did?!" Gasped Professor Mcgonagal, "But- but the password?!"

"Woman! He had 'em!" Spoke Cadogan, "We had all of them for this week! Read them all off of a slip of paper."

Mcgonagal slipped back into the common room, white as chalk. She had her hand placed over her heart.

"Which person," She said, her voice trembling, "Which abysmally foolish person wrote down a week's worth of passwords on a paper, and lost it."

There was a silence among us all. I felt bad. The boy infront of me slowly slowly raised his hand into the air.

Mcgonagal looked more than angry now.

Neville just wanted to be able to get into the common room without having to wait till someone was there. I get it.

It wasn't unsurprising when no one get any sleep that night. We all remained in the common room while the castle was being searched once more.
