hands clasped around her shoulders and shook her violently, jolting her awake immediately. She had a few thoughts flash across her mind but the moment she opened her eyes, reality hit her and no general thoughts came to mind.
"Hey! Wake up!" She blinked a few times before she got a good look at everything, a boy with brown hair and eyes was the culprit for forcing her awake, but then she looked around the room...well...cage.
There were a few crates around the pair that said the same words plastered in white paint 'WCKD'. There was a larger cage behind the brown haired boy that had a raggedy blanket covering it, but before her mind could wonder what was underneath he spoke again, dragging her from her strangely calm thoughts.
"Do you know where we are?" He half shouted, still having his hands rested on her shoulders, tightly gripping them portraying mass signs of fear.
Suddenly it started, the hundreds of questions began clouding her mind and before she knew it she started acting on her emotions, pure panic flooded through her veins like an infection.
"What the fuck!" She shouted jumping back from the boy, he registered her panic but just crawled back slightly. Her thoughts and her mind were spinning like a tornado filled with debris.
She looked down below her feet and noticed they were in fact speeding upwards, her eyes followed the direction they were going but couldn't see anything above them..
Were they going to be racing upwards forever? she thought, which only added extra fuse to her panic, like gasoline to a fire.
She hadn't noticed her dangerously fast breathing until the boy stood up and knelt back down beside her, "You need to calm down, and think of a way out of here." He said, his forehead glistened in the dim light which showed he was just as terrified as she was.
"How did we get here?" She asked still panicked, the boy however stood up and lifted his arms, he swung his arm back and smacked it against the top of the cage; it rattled but didn't move.
"I don't know." He smacked the top again before walking over to the larger cage on the side that she had recognised when she was slightly awake.
He pulled the raggedy blanket slightly, but nothing prepared them from the horrifying scream that came from it, he pounced backwards and they both let out a slight scream, he almost landed on her but they both got up from the floor, composing themselves, if they hadn't have wanted to get out they definitley did now.
To add to their panic and confused states they could finally see what they were approaching, a ceiling...
"Help!" The boy screamed at the top of his lungs.
"Let us out!" He sounded as if he was going to tear through his vocal cords, but at that point she was bellowing anything she could, tearing and damaging her own.
"Were going to crash into that thing!" The boy shouted pointing up, her eyes hadn't left the ceiling since she noticed it but the sudden approach added nerves to her panic.
"Oh shit!" They both said as there were coming dangerously close, she had glanced at the boy who quickly shut his eyes to brace himself, her eyes returned to the oncoming ceiling but she just stared, wondering what would happen.
Maybe this was there was to hell or heaven, maybe they had died, i mean she couldn't clasp a single memory of her past life, not even a recognisable face, not even her own...
her entire identity and life had been snatched from her grasp, and for all she knew there was no way to get them back, or go home, if she had one.
The box came to a sudden stop, jolting the entire cage causing them both to collapse to the floor, she pushed her elbows onto the floor sitting herself up slightly and watched as the situation only got more confusing.
