Ken sat stiffly in his seat as Fe processed to look over the dinner's menu. Fe made faces every now and then, seeing the few options.
"I really need to have your father ship in more food. I mean, you can't have a dinner that just serves rehydrating pill stakes." Fe lied the menu down and directed his attention to Ken, now leaning on the table. "So, what is it you wanted?"
Ken took a deep breath as he looked at the cloaked man. "Do to the most reacent of... happenings, one of your Subjects is need for further testing." Fe began to laugh, holding his stomach as it shook, making Ken scowl.
"You know, Ken, this whole 'Big, Tough and Serious' bid isn't you," he started, slowly calming down. "Where's that good old country man I know?" His face slightly heated, Ken took a deep breath and sighed, looking straight ahead.
"Felix, please don't make this anymore difficult than it already is for me, man. Do you think I enjoy acting like this?" Ken tensed as he watched Fe lied back in his seat, crossing his arms, his face harden by the comment.
"You know what? I think you do," As Felix spoke, both of the man were being persuaded by the aura of anger and frustration that surrounded the both of them. "You're doing this for the self proclaimed doctor to keep yourself high and dry of any possibility of being shoved in this isolation Hell-hole."
Suddenly, it was like the world had stopped. Neither of them spoke, both staring at one another. The sudden sounds of footsteps made both of the man turn their heads. Felix was the first to speak.
"Minx, can you get us both a cup of coffee?"
Standing next to the table was a young lady with long brown hair and purple bangs. She was dressed in work cloths, holding a note book and tray. She nodded."Yes sir, I'll bring it out right away." She replied, her voice carrying a foreign accent. As she sped away, Ken looked at Felix. "She fears you." He stated, shaking his head.
Felix could only smiled. "Its the fear of the unknown. I mean, what do you even know about me" Ken began to ponder on that question as Felix chuckled. "Heh, well at least I'm not hated."Ken did wanted to get back on track. He was sent here to do something, so he was going to do it, but something was eating away at him. "Felix, what you said earlier.... what did you mean by 'you sound like your father?'"
"I ment just that. You sound like your father."
Ken frowned. "Ok, then why did you rush me here?" Felix cocked his head to the side.
"What? Do you not like it in here? Personally, I'd rather meet in here then outside my office." With a smile, Felix let out a long breath.
"Then why didn't we just go into your office?"
Ken was now crossing his arms."Its a mess up there, I'm sure you wouldn't want to go up there." Felix did not answer that question right away, clearing up one of Ken's earlier suspicions.
"So I was right. He is up there." He proclaimed with a smile. His triumph was short lived.
"Who?"
Ken didn't want to play this game. Felix wasn't going to to fes-up so it really wasn't worth trying.
The sound off someone clearing their thought came between the two men. It was Minx holding the to cups of coffee.
"You two need to quite bickering over here. Have some coffee." As Minx placed the cups down, the dinner door swong open, revealing an angry individual.
Minx smiled. "Hey Moon. Nice to see you. Need anything?" Minx may have been happy, but Moon was far from that.
"Nothing today, Minx." Moon had her eyes glued on Felix. Ken chuckled, scrolling though files on a table like device he now had in his hand. "Outside. NOW!" She demand.
