Bela could not control her excitememt after cutting Mahir's call. The smile grazing on her lips refused to leave her face even after an hour. She started dreaming about her future with Mahir not knowing the hurdles that was about to be thrown her way.

"Just a few more days Mahir ji and then there will be nothing stop me from confessing my love for you." Bela whispered looking at Mahir' photo on her phone.

She smiled looking at her phone like an idiot not knowing her happiness would be soon wiped off. She kept her phone on the table and went to freshen up. However before she could enter the bathroom her phone rang making her stop in her tracks. She looked at the caller id and frowned seeing her mother's name on it.

"Why is maa calling me now? I have already told her that I will reach home only on saturday, then why is she calling now?"  Bela thought to herself looking at the name of the caller.

Not wanting to keep her mother waiting Bela attended the call.

"Hello."

"Where were you Bela? I have calling on your phone for the past twenty minutes and now you are attending. What work were you so busy that you were ignoring your mother's call?" Janvi literally barked through the phone making Bela gulp.

"Maa I was in the bathroom. I didn't hear my phone ringing. Sorry that I kept you waiting." Bela apologized even though she was of no fault.

"Hmm. Anyway Bela I called you inform you that you are returning home today itself and not on saturday."

"But maa-"

"No buts and ifs I have sent Babbal to pick you up. You are ending your stay at the hostel and returning home today itself. Hope I am clear Bela." Janvi said cutting off Bela's words.

"Yes Mom."

"Good. Babbal will reach there in an hour or half. I want you to be ready by then, pack all your things while comming because you are not returning there."

"Yes Mom."

"Ok then I am cutting the call. Will see you soon then." Janvi cut the call without even waiting for Bela's reply.

Bela looked at her phone and sighed in disappointment. Her plan to stay in the hostel till saturday got cancelled just because her mother, whom she never in her entire life seemed to excited to have her home.

'Something is not right.' Her heart and mind kept whispering to her.

Bela walked inside her house to find some guests sitting in the hall chatting with her parents. Seeing her walking in her mother got up from the sofa and moved towards her. And even before she could open her mouth to ask the matter her mother dragged her towards the couple who were sitting on the sofa.

"Andyji Sumitraji this is my daughter Bela and Bela this is Mr Andy Sehgal and Mrs Sumitra Sehgal." Janvi introduced Bela to the couple and vice versa.

"Nice to meet you Mr and Mrs Sehgal." Bela murmured with a smile not undertanding what was happening around her.

"Oh Bela dear please no formalities between us afterall we are going to be a family soon." Sumitra said giving a hug to her.

Bela looked at her surprised not understanding the meaning behind her words. Sumitra understood that Bela didn't get what she was talking about seeing her facial expression.
