6. Bygone

Two years Later

Many things have changed in the lives of both Bela and Mahir in these two years. Mahir and his friends graduated a year back while Bela and Bani are in their last year of college. Mahir and Veer became partners and started a company of their own, M & V private limited, though Mahir's father wanted him to take up their family business.

True to the words love happen between two people who are poles apart. Veer was successful in making Bani fall in love with him before he graduated from the college. It was like a great wonder to many people because none even in their wildest dreams had thought of these two to be together. 

Most of them thought that Bani too would be heart borken like the girls from Veer' s past as he was well known to be a playboy. But it was a total surprise to them when he introduced Bani to his mother. His mother was delighted and without thinking anything welcomed Bani with open arms. His father was a bit vary knowing Bani was an orphan but later accepted her knowing she was the reason his son has changed into a better man.

After one year of dating officially they both decided to promise each other their rest of forever and during Bani's last year of college they exchanged the ring. Many of you might be thinking they are moving to fast but hey there is nothing as such as falling in love too soon or falling so easily. 

With them becoming a couple had done great advantages for Mahir and Bela. They first became friends then gradually became best friends and finally something more than that unknown to both and well known to others. Bela's mornings starts with texting and nights ended with a two hour call. And the same was for Mahir, there was not a day in his life that passed without her.

They became each other's strength and weakness. He taught her to love and she taught him to be selfless. With the passing days her happiness became his happiness and his became her. Both were ready to do anything to the other happy.

These two years were bliss which was soon going to change into a disaster unknown to both of them. They forgot the silence before the storm is deadly.

Room no 302

"Bela." Bani shouted startling Bela, who was lost in her dreamland with Mahir.

"Again day dreaming about Mahir bhai?" Bani asked with a smirk on her face.

"Yes. No. Why..would..I..dream about him? He is just my friend nothing more." She stammered, a slight blush appeared on her cheeks.

"And you want me to believe it? Cut it out Bela. Everyone here knows what you feel for Mahir bhai." Bani said.

"Am I that obvious Bani?" Bela asked with wide eyes.

"Obvious is far from the word. Everyone can see your mad love for Mhir bhai other than bhai himself." Bani chuckled. 

"What can I do Bani? Mahir ji is just too perfect and I can't help myself from falling in love with him. His beautiful eyes and cute smile like that of a innocent child and what not." Bela exclaimed making Bani smile.

"Bela my sweet darling if you are so in love with Mahir bhai just go and propose him instead of daydreaming about him." 

"How can I Bani? I am a girl. Won't it be weird if I propose him?" Bela pouted.

"Bela this is the 21st century. Nowadays there is nothing a girl can't do on her own. If you have the guts to propose him there is nothing stopping you. Bela being a girl should not stop you from doing what you like. It should not stop you from achieving your dreams." Bani lectured her like a mother bear.
