A prolonged and general silence followed the relvelation.
No words were spoken between the trio after the audio ended. The tension was so thick that one could easily cut it with a knife. The silence between them felt so oppressive and uncomfotable.

Veer was about to say something when Babbal came back with four cups of coffee. He kept them on the table and settled himself on the chair next to Mahir. The uncomfortable silence lingered between them before Babbal decided to break it.
"So Mr Sehgal do you want any more proofs to prove that brother is a fraud?" Mahir shook his head looking down. He fought back the tears that threatened to fall from his eyes.
"Glad to know that you trust you friend. Now that everything is clear, I want you to tell your family to back out from this marriage. My parents won't back out even if they know your brother is a fraud, they want the partnership with Sehgals, so will go to any extent, even if it meant selling their own daughter to a bastard like him." Babbal uttered with disgust.

"I'm sorry Babbal bhai because of me Bela is suffering. If I hadn't loved her or if she hadn't loved me then maybe things would have been different. I'm so sorry for everything Bhai. I will speak with my parents and will make them call off the wedding." Mahir said clenching his jaws.
"Good." Babbal said as sipped his coffee.
"Guys we shouldn't stop the wedding." Veer said suddenly making Mahir and Babbal look at him.
"But why Veer? Mahir himself is ready to call off the wedding, then what is your problem, Veer?" Babbal asked confused.
"Babbal bhai just because Mahir's family calls off the wedding will not stop Rocky from hunting down Bela to hurt Mahir nor it will stop your parents from trying to get ditich Bela to another rich guy. Moreover there is someone else who is working with Rocky. If he/she gets a signal that we have unveiled Rocky's intentions then it will be a danger to both Bela and Mahir. And I have a wonderful plan that will solve all our problems." Veer explained.
