"And now the ride truly begins...Leader"
"Come in and pretend it's all just a bad dream"

"Trust me, I wish it was" Dylan interrupted.

"It's a funny thing how so much can fall apart so fast..."
"I just wanted what was promised to me, I just wanted to be beautiful..."

"Surely you can understand that..."

A pang of guilt went through Cheyenne, although this version of Alice was twisted, like the rest of this game, she knew what it was like to try and be pretty. But this beauty, was horrid and corrupted like her.

"But she took it away from me!"
"She left me to die in my domain!"
"You all did..."

Fear and tension was shared between the three of them as Alice spoke.

"Leader...Why are you here?"
"I'm dying to find out..."
"Seeing as no one will tell me..."
"Do you just enjoy the terror of being in this hell?"

"Uhhh no" Cheyenne replied, although it went unnoticed.

"Because if that's so, I can make it a lot more hellish for you!" The angel laughed at this. "Hang on tight, I've got a surprise..."

The three of them did what she asked, the anticipation killing them. Then that's when they found out their gift.

Through the doors of the haunted house, was the same layout as always, the floor that we would find Boris in, the old fashioned wallpaper, the chandelier on the ceiling, but the paintings. The paintings were the things that were different, instead of the freakish people on the walls, it had been replaced with photos of the cartoon characters that they had met in the studio. However, the one thing that was the same with these paintings were, that were all dead.

On the first three were, Sammy, the bad Alice and the good Alice. All three looking down at them, next were, Bertrum, The projectionist and finally, on a wall all by himself was Boris.

"No..." Cheyenne said, she knew it was going to happen and as the cart turned the corner, she knew it was too good to be true.

A pair of giant gloves appeared from within the darkness, followed by Boris himself. But this was not Boris, this was not the friendly wolf they had known during chapter three, this was Alice's creation, Alice's corruption, Alice's wrath.
This was Brute Boris, the one they needed to kill...

"Boris!" Cheyenne yelled as he flung the cart into the air, Dylan, Tom and herself sent with it, flying backwards until they hit the floor with a 'thud'. Alice laughed in the background, the high pitched noise echoing around the room.

"MEET THE NEW AND IMPROVED BORIS!" Alice yelled, "I TOOK WHAT I WANTED AND IN RETURN, I GAVE HIM SO MUCH MORE!"

"YOU GAVE HIM AN UNESCAPABLE FATE!" Cheyenne yelled, "YOU ARE THE MONSTER! NOT HIM!" Just as she said that Boris came charging towards her, she jumped finishing with a tuck and roll to move out of his way.
Alice gave another laugh;

"and this time, THERE'S NO INK DEMON! NO ESCAPE!" Alice yelled, "BORIS! TEAR THEM APART! LEAVE NOTHING!" She laughed again.

"Goodbye Leader" and with that the 'Angel' was gone.

"Son of a bitch" Dylan said, backing away from the beast,

"She is the bitch" Cheyenne joked, but she knew now wasn't the time.

"What do we do?" Dylan asked, they both knew, they just didn't want to accept that they had to defeat their friend.

"The only thing we can do" Cheyenne yelled as she dodged another charge from Boris. "Tom! Use your axe on him when he gets tired! He'll start to spray ink! That's where you hit!" She instructed the other wolf, he nodded and began to move closer to Brute Boris.

Alice's creation charged for the final time before he stopped, panting and trying to catch his breath, Cheyenne wondered what it would be like if she was in that state. "Now Tom!" She yelled and the wolf did what she asked, hitting him square in the chest, the other wolf gave a threatening yet painful roar as he backed away. After a few moments Boris gave another roar and began to charge again but after began jumping. He lunged for Dylan and the boy flung himself across the floor to avoid getting squashed by Boris.

"Woah" Dylan said, he grabbed the side of the Looking Eye and was about to aim.

"No!" Cheyenne yelled making Dylan stop in his tracks, "We have to do this the right way, no OverPowered weapons! We have to do this!..."
"...For Boris." She said sadly, it was stopped by fear as Boris tried jumping on her, she too moved out of the way avoiding contact.

"Come on..just one more" Cheyenne said through gritted teeth, the wolf did his final jump and once again was met with the sharp edge of Tom's axe, another roar split the room as Boris tried to redeem himself, there was no stoping what was going to happen next, there was no going back.

Boris made his way over to a line of carts, he picked one up and threw it across the room, aiming at something that wasn't them.

"His third phase" Cheyenne said, "Everyone! Don't get hot by the cart or else!" She yelled, she was met with nods and yeses as the three of them began to dodge the flying carts.

"One" Cheyenne counted, the first was aimed at her, "Two" the second at Dylan, "Three" and with the third aimed at Tom, Cheyenne raced to Boris, the wolf yet again bleeding out ink.

"I'm sorry Buddy" she said as she plunged her hand into the beast's heart, absorbing it and the rest of the wolf, it brought her to tears to see him go like this, but it was better than his original fate, seconds later his body and everything that was constructed on him was gone. Cheyenne fell to the floor heartbroken, she had said to herself that she wouldn't absorb dead bodies, but Boris, he didn't deserve this fate, he didn't deserve death.

"Cheyenne!" Dylan yelled, "Tom!" She turned back seeing an overturned cart and the back of Alice.

"WHY WON'T YOU EVER JUST DIE!" She said, hoping Tom's axe over his chest, "YOU TOOK EVERYTHING FROM ME! NOW YOU MUST PAY!" She shouted angrily, lowering the axe,

"NOOO!" Cheyenne and Dylan yelled racing towards them, but before they could make it, a white beam shot at the two faced Angel, making her disappear. Cheyenne looked over to see Dylan holding the Looking Eye, the device aimed at where Alice once stood. However, that was not the shocking part, through the glass of the device, Cheyenne saw a glimpse of a very familiar character, his eye glowing blue and a smile on his face as his skeletal feature adjusted to Dylan's face.

"Sans?" Cheyenne said, then, as Dylan removed the glass from his face, the skeleton was gone, Dylan's other half of his face returning.

"Tom!" Dylan said, coming closer to the wolf, however, no movement came from the animal, as Cheyenne came to join her friend, she saw that Alice had done the deed. An axe lay downwards in Toms chest. His body slowly evaporating,

"Why must everyone die?!" Dylan asked, it was sad as every character they came across or teamed up with died, it didn't matter if they were good or bad, they all witnessed the same fate.

"Cheyenne..." Dylan said, looking at his friend,

"Yeah" she replied, still looking at where Tom's body used to be.

"How are we supposed to find the hideout now?" He asked, Cheyenne thought for a moment then remembered what the note Alice had wrote said;

"There's something I need to tell you"

She dove into her backpack, pulling out the note and dropping it onto the floor,

"What are you doing?" Dylan asked, confused at why Cheyenne was now on the ground, her hand tracing the ink on the piece of paper,

"This was written in the hideout" Cheyenne said, "If I can remove the ink and make it a puddle then we can get there" she said,

"You mean you can get there" Dylan said, "I can't go through ink"
Cheyenne shook her head,

"No, you can't, but with the help of me you can" she said and grabbed Dylan's arm. "I suggest you hold your breath and shut your eyes" Cheyenne said, Dylan knowing the consequences if he didn't. "Alright" she said, "You ready?"
Dylan nodded and the two of them leaped into the ink puddle..
