Chapter one hundred and eight: Interrupted investigation

Monokuma chuckled as we walked down the familiar halls of Hopes Peaks Academy, the sound of footsteps as the rest of the class followed the bear to the dead body.
The first victim of this killing game.

They passed the several corridors and classrooms, finally ending up on the dorm hall, just seeing them made Cheyenne wish they weren't here, as she knew, one by one they would disappear....

"Phuhuhuhuhu! Here we are!" The black and white bear said, it's red eye piercing into their hope. He opened the door with a photo of Sayaka, smiling hopefully, a thing in this dimension that would be killed so easily.

As the door creaked open, it was clear that the room hadn't changed from when the students before them had inspected the room.
They entered the bathroom connected to the bedroom, to see Sayaka's body still lying there, dead. Pink blood surrounding her as she 'slept' forever in despair.
Cheyenne turned to see Dylan and Luke looking at the corpse in morbid horror.

"WHAT. THE. FUCK!" Luke yelled, holding his stomach a little as he backed away in discomfort.

"Uhh..." was all Dylan said, just pointing at the school girl. He didn't move, only his skin became paler as he stared, however, he still managed to keep his composure.
Cool and composed as always.

Cheyenne too felt a tinge of illness set over her, however, she had seen this scene too many times to feel any sort of pain. Too many times before that she disliked to say.
But fortunately, she couldn't anyway.

"Now what?" Alex asked, him too looking as pale and horrid as Luke, but keep the same calm state as Dylan, and Cheyenne, knowing he had seen this before.

"Now you restart the investigation! You will have a certain amount of time to find out anything you can about this murder! However, you can use this however you wish! Good luck!
Phuhuhuhuhu!" Monokuma laughed and exited the room, leaving the students to repeat an interrupted investigation.

"Now" Byakuya said, "You look at the body and work out what happened" he said, unimpressed.

"NOW!" Luke said, "I WILL BE LEAVING!" Luke turned to go however, as always, he bumped into the bathroom door, shut to show the dead body, slumped against the bathroom back wall. He turned, caressing his head and shouted.

"FUCK YOU DYLAN! I BET IT WAS YOU WHO SHUT THE DOOR ON ME!" The loud boy yelled.

"Actually...it was me" a light purple haired girl mentioned. She gave Luke a side eye as he opened the door aggressively, taking it off its hinges and stormed out, not saying a word to the new character.

"Kyoko Kirigiri" the girl said, not out holding her hand to greet the Horror Gang.
Cheyenne still waved in her direction, smiling a little although this was the last place where a smile would be needed.

"Alright! Let's begin!" Taka ordered, waving his arms in a robotic way, pointing to the body.
They all nodded and began to investigate.

It only took them five minutes to investigate, the blood on the floor and; the writing on the wall. A familiar name, written backwards, next to Sayaka's body.
Cheyenne smiled hesitantly, knowing the name. Then, a familiar, almost cheerful tune rang out:

"Your time is up! Please head to the trial room to restart this trial!" Monokuma's voice said through a speaker.
Cheyenne sighed, thankful to get away from the sight of death.

They walked around back through the corridors, Cheyenne and Alex recognising them as they rushed to the trial room, wanting to get this over with.

"You ready?" She asked her friends as they walked to the entrance of the trial room, and with a quick nod, they headed inside.
