A few days have passed, and I'm still stuck in Japan, with Grell and the Band of Seven, as that is what they are called. I wonder if anyone back home knows I'm missing? Its also been three days since my last shower and I'm starting to stink like Grell's shoes when he forgets to clean them. I just want to get cleaned before I start growing mushrooms.
I'm also starting to learn their names. I already know Bankotsu's because Grell told me he's my new husband. There's the girly looking one, Jakotsu, who Grell told me he's a guy, just obsessed with a half demon named Inyuwasha or something like that, I dunno. Then there's the one who helped me to my feet a few days ago, Renkotsu, he seems the most calmest out of all of them. A doctor named Suikotsu, he kind of reminds me of my dad, but with more emotion to his face.
The midget who blasted me with that noxious gas or poison as he called it and his name is Mukotsu. Some sort of half machine guy, Renkotsu called him Ginkotsu, who tends to leave me alone, mostly. Lastly, there's the huge guy, who I think Bankotsu called Keyokotsu.
(A/N: before any Inuyasha fans FIGURATIVELY rip my head off, Melody is still new to Japan and will mispronounce names but not on purpose, but Renkotsu will help her to pronounce them correctly, hence the misspelled words on purpose. Just wanted to make that clear)
"Melody, why are you wanting to go home?" Renkotsu asked me. I looked at him and told him I have a little brother and a protective father along with my favorite cousin and my uncles. He nods and looked like he felt sorry for me. "Well, granted, Grell can be protective when he wants to be. Its only rare when Grell is protective of me. Don't tell him I said this, but I do care about him, I just have a hard time showing it to him, because he's constantly shrieking my name and hugging me to the point where I cannot breathe, y'know? Now, regarding these hard to say names, the huge ones name is, correct me if I'm wrong Kyokotsu and the half demons name is Inyuyasha?" I asked clearing botching the half demons name up. "Melody, its Inu-Yasha" Renkotsu corrected me.
"Oh, ok. Let's see if I can say it now. Inu-Yasha? Is that right, Renkotsu?" I asked as he nodded. "Yes. That's good, you finally got it right, Melody" Renkotsu said. I squealed and grinned slightly.
"Why the squealing?" Grell asked me. I only glared at him. "None of your damn business, Mr. I hate to see my cousin happy" I retorted.
