The fight of the century, Claude vs Bankotsu

Chapter 9

"I don't even know anything about this guy and you just expect me to go along with this, then *scoffs* you are more dumb than I give you credit for, Grell. I will not stand here and let you tell me who I can and cannot be with, dumbass! I actually do want to go home, right this second" I growled. "Nope, you are now his wife as he is your husband, Melody" Grell chirped. "That's it, I'm out of here" I started walking away, but was grabbed by the wrist. I turned around to see that Bankotsu was the one who grabbed my wrist. "Do you even know where you're going? It's very dangerous in these woods, Melody" Bankotsu said, making me glare at him.

"I don't care, as long as I'm away from you and my moronic cousin" I said, yanking my wrist away from him. As soon as I was away from Bankotsu and Grell, I bumped into a small man or boy, who is wearing a mask to cover his mouth. "Is your name Melody Spears?" he asked. "I-I am, why?" I asked confused. He then blasted my face with some sort of gas, making me feel sick, so I blacked out from it.

"Ooh, when is she gonna wake up?" a girl or a very girly guy asked.

"Jakotsu, quiet, she's coming around" I heard a male say. My eyes slowly fluttered open and I saw the midget standing over me and I quickly got up, to which in hindsight, I never should have done, because I fell flat on my butt. "Take it easy there, missy" Grell said. I swung his feet out from under him, making him fall flat on his butt. The girly looking guy snickered at my cousin, who was now getting up off his butt.

A hand reached out in front of me and I looked up and saw a guy wearing a bandanna. I took his hand and he pulled me to my feet. I nodded a thanks to him and walked over to the midget and kicked him right in the face. "Never blast whatever that stuff was at me again, do I make myself clear? If not, I'm not scared to kill you, right now" I threatened the midget. "Yup, definitely my cousin" Grell laughed.

I shot him a glare as to say 'shut the bloody hell up' and he quickly shut his mouth. "She told you, Grell" Bankotsu said, coming into view. I groaned in annoyance. "You sicken me" I deadpanned. "Well, I don't care, you are mine, so get used to it and me, Melody" Bankotsu said, wrapping his arm around my shoulder.

I peeled his arm off my shoulder and rolled my eyes.

(Side note: I wanna make one thing clear, before you guys come at me and say Grell identifies with being a girl, I understand, but please don't at me for calling Grell a guy, because that's how I perceive Grell and I know that there are others who see Grell like how I do, but I totally get that Grell sees him/herself like that.)
