Chapter 10

"Alright, why don't you introduce yourselves?" the man said.

"Well, what are we supposed to say?" Sakura asked.

Katsumi giggled and raised her hand first. The teacher raised an eyebrow.

"I guess you'll go first." he said, resting his face on his hand.

Tadashi sighed and pulled his signature set of drums out of nowhere again. Naruto and Sakura looked at him like he was a magician.

Katsumi stood up and shook her staff, allowing the bell to jingle. Then she whipped her hair around and smiled proudly.

"I may not be able to see, but don't you pity me. I shall bless you with my amazing name." She began doing little hops "I am the daughter of a man who has no enemies all throughout the lands. I am going to be a legendary Sannin and prove to the world that I can be a kunoichi! I am Katsumi"

She ended her intro with a twirl of her staff and a hand out towards her teacher. Tadashi had a small smirk on his face. Even though the intro is very extra, and can be a tad annoying, it still didn't get old.

'Yup, she is definitely his daughter' the masked man thought.

Everyone blinked a couple of times looking at the girl. Sakura was the first one to speak.

"Umm... my question still stands. Any normal person wouldn't have something like that prepared." She said crossing her arms.

Katsumi sat back down next to Naruto and stuck her tongue out towards the pink-haired girl. "You're just jealous you aren't as amazing as me." she looked away adding a hair flip. Sakura clenched her fist.

"At least I can see" Sakura said under her breath.

"Why don't you say things you like, dislike, your future dreams, and hobbies. Things like that." Kakashi added.

"Well, why don't you tell us about yourself so we can see how that's supposed to work." Naruto said.

"Me? I'm Kakashi Hatake. Things I like and things I hate. I don't feel like telling you that. My dreams for the future... never really thought about it. As for my hobbies, I have lots of them." He said in the most monotone voice ever.

"That was useless, all he told us was his name." Sakura whispered.

"Alright, your turn. You, on the right, you go first." Kakashi said.

"My name is Naruto Uzumaki, I like instant ramen in a cup and I really like the ramen from Ichiraku. I hate the three minutes you have to wait after you pour the water in the cup. My hobby is eating different kinds of ramen and comparing them. And my future dream is to be the greatest Hokage. Then the whole village can stop disrespecting me and start treating him like I'm somebody important."

'Well, he grew up interestingly' Kakashi thought

Katsumi smiled. She wholeheartedly believed in his dream of becoming Hokage. She raised her hand towards Naruto and he responded by giving her a high five.

"Alright, who's next" Kakashi said, looking at the other girl in the group.

"I'm Sakura Haruno. What I like... I mean who I like..." there was a pause. Tadashi watched Sakura turn her head and look at Sasuke who didn't have a care in the world of what the girl was saying. "My hobby is..." she began giggling.

Katsumi closed her eyes and laid down on the floor. This was a bit embarrassing. Tadashi pushed his hair back a bit peeved from how the girl gushed over a boy who clearly had no interest.

"My dream for the future is..." Sakura began squealing.

"And what do you hate?" Kakashi asked

"Naruto and the twins" she said with no hesitation whatsoever.

Naruto wales, Katsumi shot up and pouted, Tadashi raised an eyebrow at the girl.

"Next." Kakashi said, looking at Tadashi.

"My name is Tadashi. I like my family and being strong. I hate those who are disrespectful. Unfortunately for Sakura, she just made the list." Tadashi said, crossing his arms. "And my dream is to master all kinds of jutsu and become the strongest ninja similar to the third."

"Alright, last one," Kakashi said looking at the very uninterested Uchiha.

"My name is Sasuke Uchiha. I hate a lot of things, and I don't particularly like anything" he began.

Katsumi frowned. Poor Sakura, that must've hurt.

"I don't have a dream, I have an ambition that I will make into a reality. I am going to restore my clan, and kill a certain someone" Sasuke looked dead ahead. Tadashi rested his head in his hand thinking about what Sasuke just said.

'Who is he talking about?' Tadashi couldn't help but wonder.

It was quiet for a while, until Kakashi spoke.

"Good, you're each unique and you have your own ideas. We'll have our first mission tomorrow. It's a task that the six of us will do together." he said, crossing his arms.

Katsumi stood up and stretched. "First mission tomorrow, got it. See you guys" turned around and ran off.

"Where are you going!" Naruto yelled at the girl.

"I'm going to go train!" she said, not looking back.

Tadashi looked back at his sister. Then pinched the bridge of his nose. 'She's probably going to see Lee... or Neji'

Kakashi explained that they'll be doing some training together. After Naruto and Sakura commented on why or how they were going to do the training, Kakashi chuckled. He told his team how this is a make it or break it test. If they failed they'll be sent back to the academy, and the failure rate is 66%. Tadashi took out his notebook and began writing every word Kakashi was saying.

"Be at the training spot at five a.m, and bring your ninja gear. Oh, and you better skip breakfast. If not, you'll puke." He said before waving and walking away.

Tadashi sighed and began walking home. Katsumi is definitely not going to like hearing that.

"WHAT! No way am I waking up that early. I'll show up at seven" Katsumi told her brother as she was punching and kicking the tree stump in the middle of the Hyuga compound.

"I don't think that'll be wise," Tadashi said, walking towards her. "He also said no breakfast, apparently this sort of training will be that intense. And if we fail we're going to be sent back to the academy" He walked beside her and tapped her shoulder. Katsumi responded by directing her punches and kicks towards him.

"Are you seriously going to skip breakfast?" Katsumi asked her brother as she swiped her foot at his leg.

He jumped up and continued to spar with his sister. Even though the two were punching and dodging, they were continuing the conversation like normal.

"I'll eat lighter than usual. I've never heard of any sort of training that difficult. " Tadashi began throwing his punches a little faster, causing Katsumi to be on the defense and focus on dodging.

"Hmm fine, I guess I'll do that too." She did a couple of flips moving away from her brother. "I still can't believe it, Tadashi. We're finally Ninja." She ran up to her brother and gave him a hug.

Tadashi smiled and hugged her back. "And we're going to stay ninja. Tomorrow we'll pass and be even closer to our dream." He said giving her head pats.

The two went into a comfortable silence until Tadashi felt his sister's weight shift.

"K-katsu?"

She began to fall over her body going limp. Tadashi began to panic but quickly calmed down when he heard the light snores coming from his sister. He let out a sigh of relief.

"You're going to kill me one day," he said, shaking his head.
