"Sasuke here at point B"

"Sakura here at point C"

"Naruto here at point A"

"I dont think that's how the alphabet goes. Isn't it A, B, C?"

"Tadashi! This is no time for games. Stay out of coms if you have nothing to say" Katsumi whisper shouted in the mic.

"Alright Team Seven, the target is on the move. Let's follow." Kakashi said.

Katsumi stayed by Kakashi's side, while the rest of team seven moved closer.

"I can go in at any time." Naruto said.

The other three ninja upfront agreed on stand-by.

"The target has stopped moving, Kakashi sensei." Katsumi said, sitting down next to her teacher with her hands pressed together.

"Alright. Now!"

On his signal, all four ninja jumped towards the target.

"Alright, I got it!" Naruto said, holding on to the fussy cat.

Tadashi watched the feline beat the poor boy up while trying to escape. "It looks like he's got you Naruto." He said chuckling to himself.

Sasuke confirmed that it was the cat they are looking for, making this mission a complete success. Katsumi felt a pat on her head from her teacher.

"Isn't there a better mission to do!" Naruto yelled into the mic.

Katsumi threw her headpiece to the ground, breaking it in the process. She rubbed her ear. "Too loud." she pouted.

"Don't scream into the mic idiot! You know how sensitive my sisters' hearing Is!" Tadashi barked.

Katsumi heard the woman gush about how worried she was about her lost pet. Tadashi shivered watching her hug the poor cat. Naruto laughed, happy that the cat was getting what he deserved.

"Alright, the next mission for Team Seven is... an errand to the neighboring town, then babysit the chief councilor's son, then you must help plant some potatoes.." Lord Third started.

"No thank you! I want to go on a real mission, something exciting" Naruto said, interrupting the Hokage and crossing his arms.

Katsumi covered her ear again with one hand. Iruka and Naruto began yelling back and forth until Katsumi had enough. She hit Naruto in the head with the tip of her staff lightly. The boy put his hands on his head and tried to rub the pain away.

"You're too loud!" Katsumi said through grit teeth and a smile.

"Naruto, let me explain what missions are in the first place. Many Requests are sent to the village every day. From babysitting to assassinations..." Lord third began explaining the system they had in place to separate them through the order of difficulty. And the different kinds of levels there are with being a ninja. Unfortunately for lord third, the only one who seemed to be actually listening to him was Katsumi. The rest of the team were adamantly listening to Naruto explain what he had for lunch and what he's going to be eating.

"Listen!" the Hokage yelled.

Kakashi rubbed the back of his head. "S-sorry."

"I'm not that little prankster anymore old man" Naruto said with a huff and turned his body facing away from the hokage.

Tadashi let out a sigh and pinched the bridge on his nose. "Naruto can you please..."

"Alright then" Lord third said, cutting the boy off. "If you insist, I'll give you a C rank mission. You'll be bodyguards for someone."

"Ehh! Really, who will we be escorting? A lord? Or maybe a princess?" Naruto said excitedly.

"Don't be so impatient, he'll be entering the room right about now. Please let our guest in." The hokage said.

Everyone turned to look at the door. An old man with a drink in one hand opened it. "What the... a bunch of damn kids?" He took another swig at his drink.

"And you two, the one with an idiotic look on your face and the other one with the weird eyes. You really expect me to believe you guys are ninja."

Katsumi didn't really pay attention to the insult the random man threw at her. She did however hold onto her brother's arm who was the opposite. She could hear the angry murmurs Tadashi was saying while she held him back from jumping the guy. Naruto laughed asking his teammates who else the man was referring to only to realize the man was talking about him. Naruto began yelling at him while Kakashi held the boy by the collar of his shirt.

"You can't kill someone you're supposed to protect." Kakashi said calmly.

"My name is Tazuna, I'm a veteran bridge builder. I must return to my country to build a bridge that'll change the lives of many. I expect you all to get me there safely even if it costs you your life." He said sternly.

Tadashi crossed his arms, he was not going to waste his life on some low-life who had a stick up their ass.

Team seven stood in front of the village entrance. Katsumi held on to her staff with one hand and held onto Tadashi's hand with the other.

"Alright!" Naruto yelled.

"What are you getting so excited about?" Sakura asked, clearly annoyed.

"This is the first time I've ever left the village. I am now a traveler!" He said excitedly.

Katsumi smiled and ran next to Naruto dragging her brother along. "I know a thing or two about traveling, stick with me and I'll show you everything the world has of offer." She said, just as excited as the boy next to her.

"Hey, am I really supposed to trust my life with these two? They're a joke" Tazuna said pointing at the two.

Tadashi began rolling up his sleeves ready to sucker punch this guy. Kakashi reassured the man and told him not to worry. Tadashi smirked and turned to look at the man in the eyes. "Are you sure you should be insulting those who are tasked to protect you? It'd be a shame if I got... distracted." He said, narrowing his eyes. He felt his sister gave his hand a squeeze. When he looked at her she was shaking her head insinuating that what he said wasn't nice. But then she quickly looked away giggling at the threat her brother just said to the man. This made Tadashi feel a bit better.

"Yeah! Never insult a ninja. And you're talking to one of the greatest ninja ever. When I become Hokage you'll look up to me. My name is Naruto Uzumaki." He said proudly

"Isn't the Hokage super and wise? You simply aren't. The day you become Hokage ill sprout wings and fly" Tazuna said, taking another swig from his bottle.

Naruto had it. The boy began flat out yelling at the elderly man before he tried jumping him again only to once more be held back by Kakashi.

"I told you, you're supposed to protect the client" he said with a sigh.

While the group walked along the path Sakura asked a question that made Tadashi sigh.

"Kakashi- Sensei, are there ninjas in the country we're going to?"

Kakashi responded by saying that there weren't any and began explaining how there are no ninja in the land of waves, but in other countries hidden villages exist, each with their own lifestyle and ninja.

"To the people of this content. The existence of shinobi villages means military strength. That's how they protect themselves and keep the balance in order from the neighboring countries." He continues to explain the five nations: fire,Water, lightning, wind, and earth, and how they are known as the five great shinobi nations. He further explained the Kage Title which meant shadow.

"Lord Third is considered to be the God of Shinobi. He knows every jutsu in the world and is the pillar that supports the village. He's a war veteran that led the leaf through a dark time. One day I want to be a ninja like him!" Tadashi said beaming with pride.

Sakura looked at him surprised before changing her face and smiling at Kakashi.

"No way! So lord Hokage is super important." Sakura said, squealing.

There was some quiet before Tadashi shouted, asking if they were thinking ill thoughts about the Hokage.

Sakura and Naruto quickly shook their heads. Katsumi giggled, the way he looked up to Lord third was adorable.
