I was built like a puzzle
My brain is full of hundreds of pieces and I need all of them to make me
Why is it so hard to focus on the pieces?
I read one piece " math" is what it says
I don't see the problems
I see numbers and letters
I take another piece " art" is what it says
I don't see paint and sketches
I see pictures and shapes
Why can't I learn like everyone else?
Do my friends hate me?
My thoughts are like butterflies
They are beautiful but then they fly away
I want to remember.
I want to understand.
So I take my meds
I grab a piece
And connect the pieces
Of my unsolved brain
