If my brain had to choose one feeling
To live with for the rest of my life
I don't think it would be able to pick one
I can pick many moods at different times

It changes in sleep and energy
Thinking and behavior
Like my brain is cut in two
One side has sunshine
The other had clouds
Like the Devil and angel are sitting on my shoulders
And I don't get to even talk to them
They make the decisions for me
But I can be strong
And I can understand
That understanding myself as a mortal
Is stronger than fighting any human
