Finally Over

"Hey, Bee's going to run with the rest of the Autobots and meet us down by the river," Sam told my dad as we ran down the streets.

I was feeling exceptionally happy at the moment. Starscream was finally dead and I no longer had to live in fear over when he would finally come for me. It had been a pretty close call just five minutes ago, and if it hadn't been for Sam, he probably would have taken off with me and I would have never seen my family or Ironhide again. The thought pained me, but I was more than happy about this.

I couldn't exactly get too happy though. From my perspective, this battle wasn't even near over. We still had a lot of fight coming our way, but I had hope in my Autobot family. I had hope that they could defeat the Decepticons once and for all, and the determination they showed proved it. I just hoped that it wasn't long now until I and the entire world would be rid of the retched Decepticons once and for all.

Never in my life had I ever been to Chicago, so I had no idea where I even was at the moment. The only thing I knew was that there was water and a bunch of steps which Carly so rudely yanked me up.

"We've got to get across the river. You see that? She said the control pillar was in the first cupola," Sam told my dad.

My dad only nodded and continued up the steps, everyone following behind him. Sam, Carly, and I ran past the draw bridges, not bothering to stay and converse with the many military men. Instead, we ran out into the middle of the street, where the sight nearly caused my heart to burst from my chest. I didn't even get the time to react before Sam pulled me into an overturned car.

Ignoring the bellows of the many Decepticons off in the distance, I focused my attention on the six Autobots in front of me who struggled in the grip of five Decepticons. They tried to fight back, but there was no use. They were outmatched and the surrounding Decepticons outnumbered them. I quickly removed myself from beside Sam and climbed out of the car just in time to see a bright blue beam shoot up into the sky. I turned back around to warn Sam, but was stopped short when I noticed Dylan in the middle of the circle.

"Prisoners? You're keeping prisoners?" he asked the Decepticon with the Mercedes emblem on his chest plate.

"Yes."

Dylan scoffed. "You need to teach them about respect. This was all business, but now it's personal. Do you understand me?" he spat.

My face contorted in rage and I made a move to get back out of the car, but Sam pulled me back. I just growled and watched as Dylan disappeared behind a lamp post. The Mercedes bot let out a throaty laugh.

"Yes. No prisoners, only trophies."

I watched as the Autobots' optics dimmed.

"Bee, I think they're going to kill us," Que said softly.

My breath caught in my throat as a different mech picked Que up off the ground and shoved him in front of him. Que begged for mercy, begged for his life, but all of his please went ignored by the Decepticon. Instead, the bot raised his gun to Que's head and a loud shot echoed through the air. I gasped and covered my mouth as my Autobot friend fell to the ground, begging for his life yet again. The Decepticon just shot im again, ending his life. That same Decepticon then proceeded on over to Jolt, ripping the bot away from his captor. Jolt didn't even get the chance to utter a word before the Con shoved his gun in between Jolt's chest plates and shot the weapon. A loud explosion sounded and Jolt's lifeless, metallic body fell to the ground in pieces. My body shook with sadness and anger and the sound of a familiar whir turned my attention away from Jolt and to Bumblebee, who struggled in Mercedes's grip.
