Chapter 19 - Past XII

It's been a week since the confrontation between Riley and me happened and although Riley already apologize to me and I accepted it, I can still notice na sometimes ay naiilang s'ya saakin. Maybe because of what he did but I already forgave naman na e dapat i-forget na din n'ya yun.

"C-Christelle.. uhm.. ito na yung palit namin sa kinain naming coconut and fresh milk mo last week.." nahihiyang sabi ni Riley saka inilapit saakin ang isang malaking box.

"Thank you!" Masaya kong sabi saka sinimulan nang buksan ang kahon.

"Ang mahal pala nyan beh?!" Oa na sabi ni Kleo, maybe because he just want to lighten the atmosphere, "Dalawang libo, ang pucha." Nakasimangot na sabi ni Kleo

" 'apaka oa! 2 thousand lang Kleo! Kuripot ka talaga e!" Angal naman ni Alice

"Eh malamang aangal ako, hindi naman pesos pinang bayad namin dyan e! Dollars, beh! Dollars! Alam mo ba kung magkano ang 2 grand sa peso?! Ha! over 100,000 thousand yun!" Pagkukwenta ni Kleo

Napasinghap silang lahat dahil sa sinabi ni Kleo.

"What?! 100k para dyan?!" Oa ding tanong ni Beatrice

"Oo beh!" Pagsabay ni Kleo sa energy ni Beatrice

"Yan desurb. Pakielam pa more." Komento ni Tiara

"Manahimik ka dyan ha—bookok!" Paggaya ni Kleo sa tunog ng chicken, natawa kami.

"You're so annoying talaga, Kleo!" Tiara rolled her eye to Kleo

"I am so annoying talaga?" He laughed, joking how Tiara said it

"Yes! You are, so nakakainis, hope you hit your toes sa kanto ng table!" Tiara added but Kleo just laugh it off.

"No wonder you guys are best friends.." Kleo laugh, again ".. 'cause you are all conyos." He continue to laugh

"We are not kaya! How dare you?! Your face is so kapal, huh!" Tiara exclaimed

"I agree! We are not kaya! Conyo are so kadiri 'no!" I added  to what Tiara said

"Yeah, right." Kleo chuckles

"Enough, girls. Kleo's just being annoying right now. Don't mind him, inaasar n'ya lang kayo so you guys gets mad." Beatrice said and rolled her eyes to Kleo

"Ewan ko sa inyo." Iiling-iling na  sabi ni Kleo saka umalis ng kusina kasunod si Riley

I continue to open the box that Riley gave me, there is really a triplet coconut inside! Yey! Cravings satisfied!

"Wow! There is a thing like that pala talaga?!" Phoebe look so amazed, same as others.

I grinned to her, feeling ecstatic that my food is finally here. "Yes. You guys want some?"

But they all shook her heads

"Nah. They said that if nakihati ka ng food sa buntis magiging antukin ka, we don't want that." Alice said and they all agreed

"Ay, weh? True ba yun?" Inosenteng tanong ko

"Yupp." Phoebe answered me, popping the letter 'p'

"Okay." I shrug my shoulders and put the box on the side

I won't eat it yet since I don't know how to open it. I will ask Diem to do it once he gets home. He is the one who opened my last coconut so I'm sure it just a basic task for him.
