Chapter 22 - Past XV

Nakaupo ako sa aking bed while eating fruit salad, I just finished feeding my angels and they are sleeping right now.

"Katamad na ha.." I groaned to myself

Wala akong kasama right now sa room because Diem has his duty right now until tomorrow, umuwi naman si Beatrice, Tiara, and Kleo while Phoebe and Riley went out to buy me some snacks and si Alice naman ay lumabas sandali para sagutin ang isang phone call.

Two days since I give birth to my lalabs and my pain pa din ako nararamdaman pero a bit na lang.

"G-girl..! Chrissy! May bisita k-ka..!" Natatarantang pumasok si Alice sa aking room and she almost stubble upon the couch.

I looked at her, "visitor? Are you sure --- I mean, I don't have any friends her in New York.." I answered her

Wala naman talaga akong naging friends here in New York, sa Miami maybe because I have Iya, Sir Lennox and Warren but I don't think they will visit me here since they don't even know that I already gave birth.

"Meron talaga.. It's.. it's your family..! Andito sila Cassidy ngayon. Nasa labas ng room mo..!"

Nanlaki ang aking mga mata.

What?..! Is that true?..

"Yes. Ang sabi ko sa kanila wait lang because baka asleep pa kayo ng nga bebe but I know you're not sleeping when I leave you. What should we do?"

It's my family, they visit me here all the way to Philippines. They traveled almost 21 hours just to see me. Does this mean that..

"Girl..? Papapasukin ko ba sila?.." nag aalangan nitong tanong

Matagal akong natahimik bago muling nagsalita habang si Alice naman ay nananatiling naghihintay sa aking sagot.

"..p-pasukin mo sila, Alice.." nanginginig ang aking boses, I don't know what to do.

Mabilis naman syang tumango at nagpaalam na lalabas para tawagin sila. And while Tiara is out, I unconsciously fixed my hair using my hand and wiping my mouth to at least fixed my appearance.

Couple of minutes passed and there is no one coming in.

"Where are they?.." I asked myself unconsciously

I stand up from my bed and walk towards the door and before I even hold the doorknob, the door open, revealing my beautiful Cassidy.

"Ate.." her voice is broken

My poor baby..

"Cassidy.."

That's the only word I can utter because my tears immediately build up after seeing my sister. It's been a while since I last saw her and.. my baby's big girl now..

"Ate Christelle..!"

Mahigpit nya akong niyakap saka humagulgol, my arm instantly wrap about her shoulders.

Gosh, I miss my sister so much!

"Ate Christelle! Ate Christelle..! I miss you so much..! huhuhu.." my sister cried like a baby

"I missed you, too, my baby.."

We both cried while hugging each other. God, my miss my sister so much!

"Christelle baby!"

Another arms joined us, it was my mom. She's hugging me so tight that I can't move anymore.

"Baby.. baby.. I'm sorry.. I'm sorry my baby.." my mom's crack voice keeps chanting those words.

She's crying a river and I can clearly feel in on my shoulder.
