Chapter 2: Lighting up the fire

"Welcome to SNU kitty" The short haired girl said when she reached the front. She stand 2 meters away from Yeji.

"You're so wet kitty" she added and everyone started to laugh. This makes Yeji mad even more but for her it's not the righ time to get her revenge. Any minute from now their professor will enter in their room.

"And she doesn't speak. I wonder how SNU accepts you here because you can't speak" she said belittling Yeji in front of their classmates.

Yeji decided to walked out from that room and went to the bathroom to change her outfit, she just missed her first subject. After she changed, Yeji faced herself in the mirror to apply powder to her face.

"Wait for me to get my revenge. You messed up with the wrong person midget."

Yeji went to the cafeteria to have lunch with her sister. As soon as she saw the couple she marched to them and took the sit beside Seulgi. Seulgi noticed her sister's dark aura and the changes in her outfit.

"What happen to you?" she curiously asked

"Someone decided to pranked me on my very first day of school." Yeji said with gritted teeth.

"and who is this person?" Seulgi had a person in her mind and just asking to make sure she's right.

"Shin Ryujin"

And her guts was right. It was no other than Shin Ryujin, the famous bully in SNU. Well, if you'll asked Seulgi if Ryujin is a bad person well...

"That little devil midget how dare she do that to me! She will get her karma soon" Yeji said

"Yeji, Ryujin isn't bad at all. Sometimes you need to know the background of the person why she became like that. Cause the Ryujin I met 3 years ago is an angel." Seulgi said before she take a sip on her smoothie.

"I don't care about her background, she's still the devil midget who humiliated me infront of our classmates. She even make me skipped my first class" she said in annoyance.

"It's your choice Yeji but always remember this don't judge the book by it's cover" Irene said before she feed Seulgi with her tteobokki.

Yeji cringed at the gesture "Right in front of me? I'll be going now unnies, see you later" Yeji said as she stand and start to walk away from her sister's table,out of the cafeteria.

While walking on the corridor, someone suddenly tap her back and it make her turn to look who's the person. Her eyebrows met when she saw the person who tapped her back.

"Shin Ryujin" she mumbled.

Ryujin is looking at her with apologetic face and smile. "Yeji-ssi, I know what I did isn't right. That prank is for our professor not for you."

"But still wrong." Yeji cut her words. Ryujin scratch her nape and nodded.

"I know and that's why I apologize for what I did. I hope you forgive me and let's be friends? I really feel like you're a great and kind person" Ryujin said and extended her arm for handshake while she gave her sweetest smile to the cat eyed girl.

Maybe Seulgi unnie is right. Yeji thought.

She accepted her handshake "Apology accepted but please don't do it again" Yeji said.

Yeji didn't know if she saw Ryujin smirked or it's her eyes who's tricking her. She blinked her eyes and Yeji saw her sweetest smile again.

"I promise I won't" Ryujin said.
