Chapter 5: She can't

Yeji locked her up in the girls bathroom while Ryujin showered her with flour and eggs.

Yeji will tripped her and Ryujin pulled her hair. and the list of prank continues.

The war between two girls continues. They keep pulling prank to each other to the point that it's hurting both of them. All of the students found it funny specially they had this idea that the two girls might end up with each other.

Yeji hold a new ace card, the information comes from her unnie Seulgi. Ofcourse she didn't let her unnie knows that she will use it against with Shin.

Flashback

"Unnie, I want to know Ryujin's history and why she's like that?" Yeji asked her unnie

"it's for you to find out" Seulgi said as she munches her pringles while watching movie.

"Eh? She didn't even want to talk to me. Please I- I realize that I want her to be my friend. In order for me to do that I need to know her background" Yeji said cringed t herself while trying to convince her sister.

Seulgi seemed to believe her reason so she start telling stories about Ryujin.

"Ryujin... She's illegitimate child, she's a daughter of a maid. Her father and her personal maid which is her mother, had a relationship. Mr. Shin loved her mother, well in fact she's his first love. They're happy until her mother is already pregnant with his child, Mr. Shin love and accepted the baby. He was ready to introduce Ryujin's mother to his parents but before he could do it, his parents announced that he's getting married with other woman. And also the day he knew that Ryujin's mother has a kid already."

"That's sounds terrible" Yeji said, she pity their love story.

"Yep, it is also sad that he abandoned Ryujin's mother while she's still pregnant. Well, not totally since he was still supporting her financially. He let her stay in her work as a maid but not her personal maid anymore, until she gave birth. Ryujin grew up being close with her grandparents that's why they're so happy when they knew that Ryujin is their grandchild. They spoiled her a lot and even titled her as the successor of his father's company but her stepmother didn't like it a bit. Her father also love and fulfilled his duty to her, he became the best father to her. And for her mother, they let her stay away from Ryujin. She never saw her mother again up until this day. " Seulgi said as she finished the story.

Yeji felt her heart broken when she heard her family background." Poor Ryujin" she mumbled

Seulgi sighed "I'm sure Ryujin went through a lot of challenges specially when her grandparents moved to U. S leaving her with her father." she said

"what happen unnie?"

"I'm sleepy, I need to sleep bye Yeji" Seulgi said and walked towards her room.

Yeji thought that she might added to her burdens but then she remembered all of her pranks to her.

"Still, it doesn't give her the right to bully me" Yeji said sternly.

END OF FLASHBACK

She saw her walking alone in the corridor. There's only few students right now since it's not yet dismissal time, it's just their professor let them go early.

She quickened her walked to match her pace with Ryujin. When they're walking beside each other, Yeji began to poke her.

Ryujin don't need to look to the person, just by her smell she can easily identify who the person is.
"What is it Hwang? I'm not in the mood to play with you." Ryujin said without looking at her.
