The Hating Game|Ryeji|

Prologue

It was sunny day on the afternoon, little kids are happily playing on the playground with their friends. Some are playing on the slides, others are just running around the ground. Every kid is happy and playing with other except to the one kid who's silently swinging her swing, watching the kids play with each other. Standing beside her is her body guard who had a poker face on, observing the place.

They've been on the playground for a while now but he noticed that the little girl are just sitting there watching other kids.

"Youngmaster, don't you want to play with them?" he softly asked. The little girl look up to him and shake her head.

"No, I don't want to. Mister, I want chocolate ice cream can you get me one please?" she said while bashing her eyelashes cutely. The man chuckled at her cuteness.

"Okay, come with me"

"No, I will wait for you here. Promise I won't go anywhere and don't talk to strangers."

"Youngmaster, It's too dangerous..."

"Ice cream is just 5 meters away from me, don't worry you can still me"

The little girl managed to convince her bodyguard to leave her on the swing. He went to the ice cream vendor with his eyes fixed on the little girl.

For her, everything is just fine. She just want to be alone, well she's always alone. Her parents really don't want her to play with other kids unless it's their business partners child. That's why she's stuck in reading books in their house library. She's too smart for her age, 7 years old. that's why her parents bragging her everytime they had family reunion. Well, she has a friend but they rarely meet since she's staying in abroad. Other than that she has no plans on making friends again.

Her thoughts were interuppted when she saw a shadow stop in her front. She then turned to look the stranger and meet with a cute little girl.

"Hi!" the cute girl cheerfully greet the her while waving her tiny hand.

She just looked at the cute girl and hissed.

"Hello" She said without looking at her.

"I'm Ryuddaeng and you are?"

She's thinking if she will tell her name or not but was interrupted when her bodyguard came back.

"Youngmaster, your ice cream" the man handed her dessert.

"We need to go now, your dad is waiting for you. It's code red."

She just nodded and turned to the cute girl.

She smiled and gave her ice cream to her. "That's yours. I'm Yeddeong, nice to meet you. I'll go now, bye" she said turning her back and walking away from the cute girl.

She's sure that she will never meet her again.

They arrived at the mansion and she silently walked inside the house.

The first who greet her was her father.

"My little girl is finally here!" her father went to her and gave the little girl kiss in the cheeks.

"Daddy! Mister said that it's code red, what does it mean?" she curiously asked

"Let's go to your mom first okay?" he said then guided her to their living room.

She saw her mom and her sister sitting on the couch like it's waiting for her to arrive. The father and her daughter sit on the opposite couch.

"Yeji, we have something to tell you" Mother said to her youngest daughter.

"What is it Mommy?" innocent Yeji asked

She saw how her father hold her mother's hand and giving her an assurance smile.

"You-.... you're going to states. You will study there but you'll pursue here your college honey. Don't worry your grandma will be there and Mister will still keep your safety." Her mom said.

"Ddeulgi unnie won't come with me?"

"No baby, for some reason we need her here."

"Okay...." since she's still too young she didn't bother to ask why. She just nodded and agreed to her parents.

Little Hwang Yeji found herself playing again with this little girl named Ryuddaeng. Ofcourse she knew that it's just a nickname, they kept playing with each almost everyday after Yeji finished her school. When Ryuddaeng met Yeddeong, she didn't want to play with others anymore. She just want to play with her and only her. Ryujin will always wait for her for about 15 minutes in the park. Yeji never let Ryujin wait for her for too long.

But today... Ryujin felt something was different. She must be waiting for too long now since she felt thirsty. She looked around if Yeji came already but no trace of her can be found inside the park.

Ryujin still wait for her. The sun was about to set but still no Yeji, her mother came and asking her to go home already but she refuses. The mother didn't say anything she knew her kid is stubborn. They waited, until it was already night time. This time her mother is pushing her to go home.

Ryujin sighed and for the first time Yeji broke her promise.
