POV: Oikawa Tooru
I may have been blessed with good looks, money, carisma, and wonderful fashion sense but I was cursed with an awful family.
I'm not saying my family is the worst but they aren't the most, what's the word... caring? Basically they couldn't care less about a lot of things you need to care a lot about.
Take this for example: One night a boy snuck into the palace, past the guards and everything, and they let him stay! He claimed himself as Prince Tetsuro Kuroo, prince of Nekoma. So basically you could waltz into my palace and claim yourself a prince and they will let you stay?
Luckily he actually was a prince but still! Anyways, if they didn't let him stay I guess we wouldn't be here now.
Kuroo is my best friend, excluding my guards. Since we both are princes, we tend to complain about our duties and what not. Basically we get along very well. Sometimes we also have deep conversations that can result in both or one of us crying.
Kuroo somehow became really close with Bokuto and even had Tsukishima soften up a bit. Ah i guess I should tell a bit about them!
Koutarou Bokuto is ranked number four in the top five guards in this nation. He takes his guard job extremely serious but as soon as we say he can be comfortable with us he becomes a whole different person. For someone so looked up to he has a lot of temper tantrums.
Kei Tsukishima is my other guard. He's very introverted and likes to keep to himself. He has a very bad attitude and when it's the four (or three if Kuroo isn't here) he makes fun of Bokuto as much as he can. He has insulted Kuroo but that was before he knew he was a prince.
That's the whole gang I guess. Currently Kuroo, Bokuto and Tsukishima are all in my room playing Just Dance on the Wii. The song they're dancing too: Rasputin. Kuroo has also stated the whole time "Are you sure this song isn't about my guard Lev? It really sounds like him!" Anyways, I think they just finished.
"Haha! Beat again by the great Tetsuro! Bow down peasants!" Kuroo yells.
Bokuto looks at him before frowning and kneeling.
"Koutarou I was kidding. You did better than Kei so that's good!"
Here is where Bokuto has a little breakdown because he emotional.
"If Bokuto is crying cause he lost again I'm done here. I hate this game anyway." Tsukishima glares at them.
"No don't leave Tsuki! I'll win the next one!"
And Bokuto is back to being his happy self. I watch in the background simply admiring the view of these guys.
As prince me and Kuroo have to address guards by first names. They address us by last names and depending on how close they are to each other they call each other whatever.
Bokuto stands up again and looks at me. "You joining, Oikawa?"
I stare blankly. I'm not sure how they started playing or even convinced Tsukishima to play but they did. It wouldn't hurt to play a round or two.
Currently I was supposed to be doing work for my parents. When I mean work it's really just looking at all the princesses in neighboring kingdoms. I really wasn't interested so I think I'll take this break.
I grab a controller and join in. "Just warning you all, I'm literally a master at this game." That wasn't a lie but it wasn't the full truth either.
"Pfft yeah right, you're gonna do worse then Kei!"
"You do realize I'm losing because I'm not doing the whole dance like you idiots. I'm simply just waving my controller. There's no way he'll do worse if he tries."
