POV: Kuroo Tetsuro
It was awkward at first. Being with Kenma. He was always cautious cause of Junko and I was scared of him getting upset.
Sadly the day finally came. The reason Oikawa had them over, the banquet. Everyone curious on what beautiful girl he'll get to marry. But he's set.
"I don't wanna do this Tetsu. I already know who I want to be with. He just had to be a guy AND a guard."
"Look Tooru, talk to some of the more relaxed girls, they may feel the same, ya know."
"I know, I know."
"Hey, you look great, Iwaizumi is gonna love it."
I watch Oikawa style his hair one last time. Then turns to me and nods. All the guards and butlers are setting everything up. I follow Oikawa to the dining hall.
"Akaashi!"
Akaashi turns his head and walks over.
"Hey Oikawa, what do you need?"
"Uh do you mind keeping Kenma and Iwa out from helping....I'll keep Kou out too."
"Yeah of course."
Akaashi calls them over and Oikawa calls Kou.
"In case of emergency, each prince will have a guard next to them at all times. Kou you're with Akaashi, I trust my best guard with our guest." Oikawa winks.
"Kenma~San you'll be with Kuroo and Iwaizumi~San is with Oikawa." Akaashi states.
"Wait why is Bokuto with you and I'm with Oikawa? Shouldn't I protect the prince I always have and Bokuto same?"
"Do you have an issue with me Iwa?"
"Obviously have you seen yourself? I'm sticking with a conceded guy like him at a fancy ball. Plus, he's the main event. It'll be annoying."
"Iwaizumi~San, please just take care of Oikawa. I have some things to attend to now, goodbye. Bokuto~San will you accompany me please?"
"Of course!"
Akaashi and Bokuto leave and me and Kenma stare at Oikawa and Iwa.
"You sure you won't get jealous and it's making you not want to be with me?"
"Oi, Stupidkawa, you're thinking highly of yourself again."
"You're being overly rude today Iwa."
"This whole thing is annoying. I don't want to attend it."
"How rude of you! I'm the host!"
"That's the point.
"Seriously Iwaizumi? What's wrong?"
"Nothing! I just don't want to hangout with you today."
Oikawa looks at him, hurt.
"Then go. You and Kei switch."
"It's fine don't worry. I'm just tired."
"Hajime. Go."
"Oikawa chill! I said don't worry about it!"
"And I said switch with Kei!"
It goes silent. I turn to Kenma and he makes eye contact with me. We both nod thinking the same thing, hopefully.
"Hey Oikawa don't worry about it. Kenma and Iwaizumi can switch. I'll stay with him and Kenma can stay with you ok?"
"No it's fine Kuroo, I'll have him switch-"
