Chapter Twenty: Backstory

POV: Akaashi Keiji

"Akaashiiiiii!"

I turn to the face screaming my name.

"Bokuto~San, you said my name right. I'm proud of you."

Somehow I ended up with Bokuto. I went to my room after dinner and he just followed. Now here we are talking.

"You're proud of me? Well I mean I am the best guard around I'm pretty fantastic!"

"That you are Bokuto~San. Anyways what are you doing here?"

"I wanted to hangout with you!"

"I'm not that interesting though."

"Yeah you are! And there's so much I don't know about you!"

"I guess."

"Soooo are you gonna tell me about yourself or no? Don't leave me hanging."

"Oh uh right, what do you want to know?"

"Hmmm what's your favorite anime?"

"That's tough I think Erased is my favorite though."

"That's a murder mystery type one right?"

"Yeah."

"Ooo! Well my favorite is HunterxHunter! I mean Kurapika and Killua are just so cool!"

"That ones not bad."

"Who's your favorite from it?"

"Um well I like Kurapika too."

"Yeah he's really cool! I think I like Killua more though. But both their nen abilities are so interesting!"

"That's true. Leorio also has a very interesting nen ability."

"Oh yeah! Leorio is also one of my favorites!"

"I wasn't as much as a fan of him."

We talked for a good twenty minutes about HunterxHunter till Bokuto changed the subject.

"Anyways, what was your childhood like?"

I freeze. Should I tell him?

"Well I um... Give me a second."

I text Iwaizumi.

Akaashi: Should I tell Bokuto~San about my past. He'll learn yours too.

Iwaizumi, Hajime: That's fine. I'll tell Oikawa too.

Akaashi: You sure about this?

Iwaizumi, Hajime: yep.

I look back up at Bokuto. He's staring at me intently.

"Um right my childhood. Well um how do I start? Ah! First, you're going to hear things that will seem scary and confusing just listen and the confusion will be cleared. Bokuto~San, you can't tell anyone else ok?"

"Right."

You could tell he was serious. Good. This is a lot to tell.

"Well first let me tell you about my parents..."

"Keiji!"

"Yeah?"

"Get your ass over here!"

"Hehe Im coming!"

I get out of the pit. Mom and dad don't like it when I play in it but I see a lot of bugs! I find them gross but cool at the same time.
