When We Have Sufficiently Tortured Each Other

Getting ready

After waking up to what seems like a dream, like something a scene from a film; You & Cate with arms around one another, her chin resting on your head as you feel her chest rise & fall with each breath.

You yawn, Cate takes a deep relaxed breath

'Good morning darling'
She says in a heavenly tone.

She's been awake for a little while.
Your heart races at the thought of her enjoying lying with you.

You both get up & get to your regular morning tasks, you pack up your things while Cate makes & takes some calls.

Once you're all done Cate helps you taking everything to her room.

Her room is incredible, art all around, its huge  yet the smell of her floats all around.

She gives you a tour of the suite, showing you the rooms & spaces before finally showing you to an area she prepared for you, for your things.

You have to take a moment to take it all in, to take a breath & believe all of this.

She pokes her head out of the closet with a smile
'Here it is'
She says
'Take a seat & close your eyes'
she tells you,  you follow her instructions.

You hear her moving clothing around in the closet trying to find something before she begins walking over to you taking something off a hanger & placing things on the chair beside you before she takes your hands in hers.

'Hop up darling'
*She helps you up*
'Arms out'
She directs from behind you before she slides your arms into a soft suit jacket, her hands trailing over you as she moves you, adjusting the jacket gently & precisely.

You feel so relaxed, your body tingling from her light touches. You had no idea how tender it could be being dressed by someone.

She finishes her adjusting
'Perfect'
She says before moving to stand beside you, resting her hand gently on your shoulder
'Take a look'
She says with a proud pleased tone to her voice

You open your eyes, looking forward to the mirror firstly seeing her smile in the reflection then seeing the green velvet suit jacket that she has put on you.

'Is this... what you wore in oceans 8?'
You ask shocked & enthused, your hands running over the soft material as you look at her in the reflection

She gives a proud grin
'You certainly have a good eye'
She says, tweaking the collar some more
'I knew it would look perfect on you'
She says with a twinkle in her eye
'What do you think?'

Your chest flutters
'I love it'
You say with a slight blush, her eyes hovering over you as you both look into the mirror
'You looked absolutely incredible in this'
You add, flicking your eyes to hers with a grin

She chuckles
'Oh you think so?'
She says in a humble yet flirty tone

You say in a matter of fact & equally flirty way

'Ooof huh? That good?'
She says,
you both chuckle.
'Well it was one of my favourite looks from the film, probably because it was one of the most comfortable'
She says grinning
'Thank you'
She adds warmly with all jokes aside
'And seeing it on you I like it even more'
She says stroking your cheek

'Well I'm honoured'
You say with a smile

'Why don't you get the rest of your outfit on while I finish getting ready?'
She says with a gentle stroke to your cheek & a squeeze to your side

'Sounds perfect'
You reply

'Here'
She says as she takes the pants from the seat & hands them to you, her eyes full of joy
'If you need anything just come to the bedroom'
She says, kissing your cheek before she walks away

You hear Cate call from her bedroom

'Yeah'
You answer as you walk towards the door

'Are you free?'
She asks, opening the door

There she is.

'Wow' 
You let out, she looks otherworldly.
'For you Mrs Blanchett, I am forever free'
You say, visibly & shamelessly struck by her

'Well in that case..'
She says in a seductive way
'Could you zip me up?'
a cheeky grin across her face as she turns around, lifting her hair out of the way, the back of her dress showing her bare back in its full perfection.

You zip the back carefully

'There you go'
You say, rubbing her shoulders gently

'Thank you'
She says. Turning around & looking at you
'Well my darling, you look absolutely beautiful'
She leanings in & gives  you a kiss
'I have something else for you to wear'
She walks you into the bedroom more & takes a necklace from the table. It's a stack of delicate gold chains
'Since you liked the suit, I thought you'd like something else from oceans 8'

'Oh my goodness, I love them.'
You say, she moves behind you & puts them on for you

'They're yours'
She says as she wraps her arms around your waist

'I couldn't take these'
You say flustered

'You're not taking them, they're a gift, I want you to have them'
She says in a tone that you wouldn't dare argue with

'Thank you so much'
You say in the most gracious tone

'You're welcome my love'
She says. your heart flutters
'Shall we have some drinks before it's time to head off?'

'Sounds perfect'
