{Y/N'S POV}

I have to say, my 'peaceful' getaway to Naboo has proven to be fairly hectic so far. Don't get me wrong, Padmé is a very dear friend of mine but lets be honest; she can be a bit much at times. Luckily, after she gave me and Anakin a tour of the house, the grounds and the lake, she had business to attend to back in Theed. Also, I couldn't seem to shake the feeling that she was more interested in Anakin than me, which was strange.

At around noon, I walked to the stone patio outside of the house, to see Anakin holding a basket of sorts, in his gloved hand.

"I have a surprise for you, Princess." Anakin grinned mischievously as I slowly approached him. I eyed the basket in his hand.

"Is that so?" I raised my eyebrow at him and I tried to grab the basket. Unfortunately, he was too quick for me and held the basket high over my head so I could not reach.

Damn this height difference!

"Not yet, my lady. You'll just have to wait and see." Anakin looks down at me, his eyes gleaming in amusement, his grin growing on his mouth. That smile, wow. I never noticed how cute he was before... Wait, what the hell am I thinking?

I nod to Anakin and he produces a blindfold. I step back slightly, but I decide to trust him. I just feel than I can, you know? He takes hold of my hand and squeezes it to let me know he has got me. Anakin then starts walking, dragging me by the hand behind him. I try not to fall, as I could see nothing but the pitch black material over my eyes. I stumble a little, but Anakin held me up firmly. I giggle as one time, I nearly took him down with me.

As we walk on, I feel the texture in the ground change suddenly. I raise my eyebrows from under the blindfold as I am led from the stone onto a soft, squishy surface. Long, wispy strands of something start to brush my hand, and the smell of fresh grass and flowers filled my nose. Anakin continues walking for another few minutes or so, until he finally stops, making me bump into the back of him.

He chuckles as I hear him place something down and come up behind me, grasping onto my shoulders securely.

"Where are we, Skywalker?" I ask, bursting with anticipation, making Anakin laugh a little more. He starts a countdown, slipping his fingers underneath my blindfold.

"3...2...1..."

After the last number was said, his voice tails off and the blindfold is slid off of my head. The sunlight attacks me at first, making my vision go white, but as it cleared I was surrounded by a beautiful green meadow filled with long grasses and a vibrant array of colourful flowers. My jaw drops in surprise as I see the lake just in the distance. I turn behind me, to see Anakin now cross-legged on a blanket on the floor, looking up at me like a lost child. I collapse down on the blanket next to him, and look at his joyful face, a big stupid grin plastered upon his mouth.

"Surprise!" He could barely speak without laughing, making me giggle at the sound. I am truly at a loss for words. I can't believe he did this... for me.

"Skywalker, this is... well this is just... I'm speechless."

{ANAKIN'S POV}

Watching her struggle for words at my surprise, brought warm feelings to my heart. I will never forget the way her face completely lit up when she saw the meadow. I watch her spread out her beautiful green dress on the blanket as she stared out at the lake over the tall grass. She was pleased. Thank god she was pleased.

"You did say you wanted a peaceful getaway, where you could be yourself. I had to do this for you (y/n), you've been so sad since you came from Solaris. I really hope you are happy about this. I-"

She cuts me off, placing her hand on mine, "Anakin this is the single nicest thing someone has ever done for me. I love it."

She called me by my name. Anakin, not Skywalker. She called me by my name!

My heartrate elevated drastically as soon as I felt (y/n)'s hand touch mine. It felt, electric, warm and just... good.

"Look, Anakin... I know we haven't got off on the best terms, I was being a little difficult when you met me. I just - I was going through a lot."

I smiled at her, placing my gloved hand over her hand on her lap, so both of our hands were touching. I saw her look down at her knees and smile a little.

"It's ok Princess, I understand-"

"(y/n)."

"What?"

"You can call me (y/n)," she grins at me, looking deep into my eyes. My heart stops completely and I simply could not prevent the stupid smile on my face from growing. Everything about her was just absolutely infatuating. Her smile was adorable, her laugh was contagious, her personality was fiery... she was simply irresistible.

"So, (y/n)" she smiles at me, "Why don't you tell me about you? I know very little."

I watch her blow a strand of hair from her forehead and she thinks for a moment. "Well... I'm an orphan, the sole ruler of Solaris - well I should be anyways - , I'm 19 uhhh... my mother and brother were murdered about a year ago and I've been alone ever since. I was nearly murdered myself, twice. I met this arrogant young man, who I have become rather fond of, and that brings us up to date."

I think about the information she just told me. Her mother and brother were killed. Could they be the people Padmé was asking about before? I wanted to ask her, I really did, but I didn't want to cause her more pain.

"I know what you're thinking, Anakin. And you're right. Ayzel was my brother, my older brother. My mother, was Queen Rokka. She was the kindest soul ever to live on Solaris. They didn't deserve to die." I watched as her face fell in sadness.

"(y/n)... I'm sorry. Thank you for sharing with me. I know they meant the world to you, I wish I could have met them. I would have wanted to meet the people who raised such a courageous, amazing leader."

She looked up at me and smiled. I reached my finger over to wipe the tear from her cheek, and she let's me do it. I didn't mean it, but my finger lingered on her cheek, feeling her soft skin under my hand. I edge closer to her, and I hear her breath hitch slightly.

"You really are amazing, (y/n). You're not just a beautiful Princess, but a brave, strong, confident woman who will do anything for her people. I really admire that." I reach to her side and pick a flower from the grass. The yellow petals shone in the light, and I twirled it around in my fingers. She looked at it, observing it in my hand. I moved the strand of hair carefully from her face, and intertwined the little flower in her hair. I could see her eyes look at me as I placed it there. I was quite close to her, so I was silently hoping she could not hear my racing heartbeat.

"Anakin, I... I don't deserve your friendship."

You deserve the whole galaxy.

"Yes, yes you do," I said in a hushed voice, staring into her eyes. "Plus, you're really badass, even as a fake Jedi."

(y/n) laughs. This time, she nudged closer to me. My heart was pounding, I could barely breathe. Being near her alone was simply intoxicating, a drug that I would probably easily become addicted to. But I didn't care.

I was completely and utterly enamoured with her.

{a/n : I know this chapter was a little shorter than the others, but I wanted it to be short and sweet! Hope you enjoyed :) }
