Boardroom Showdown

Chapter 1

Wyatt's POV

I was walking around my office like any other day. The year was almost ending. And lately I have found myself going through how much life has changed this year. Me and Liam pulled off what a lot of people lost hope in doing when we came together and ousted Rick from his CEO position. He offered me the CEO position as a peace offering, and because he admitted he has no idea how to run a fashion house, this finally made my father's wish come true as he saw his two sons finally acting like brothers.

We all made the first major decision together in the name of Caroline when we fired Rick and Maya. The two left town shortly after heading to Italy to be with my ex wife and Rick's half sister Hope. Apparently the three are trying to set off another fashion house with Hope's new Italian billionaire husband. Oh how I hope that guy is smarter than I was and drops that girl faster then the apple that fell on Newton's head. I only feel resentment towards the entire Logan family now well except for my step mum Katie and maybe Donna. I wonder if they are actually related to that family maybe Katie was adopted but I doubt Donna she seems dumber then her sister and her children.

I was so lost in my thoughts when I realised that Ivy just entered my office carrying my three months year old nephew and godson William Wyatt Spencer.

"Hey there stranger." She said greeting me and I went to hug my sister in law. Her and Liam broke up for a while after the whole takeover thing but he hung in there eventually convincing her to take him back. Two months later and I'm going to be an uncle.

"Hey careful your going to crush your godson." She said pushing me away abit to give the little guy a little room to breathe. I looked in to her arms to see that precious little boy who united the families.

It was a little hard when I first took over, the Forrestors were not pleased and Ridge challenged me a lot. But after Eric left again claiming to never want to speak to his sons again for allowing their hatred towards one another to lose the company he stopped , dumped Caroline and left for Paris, I heard Brooke went after him though I'm not surprised that woman cares more about chasing men then her own childrens mentle stability. I guess he knew if I left he and Rick would fight again and the company would be a war zone. I get reports every now and then on his reign as President of International.

I named Thorne and Caroline Co Presidents as I wanted to make the Forrestors believe that I was truly not out to run them out of their own company. I believe that we can all work together.

Ally and I were named co god parents of baby Will. I don't know but after that she started warming up to me. She was kind of disappointed when I announced my decision of firing Hope and dismantling HFTF when Hope's past drug abuse became the subject of the world but I think she understood because she was overjoyed when I announced that she was getting her own clothing and shoe lines. She named it Jewel Of The Heart.

It took a while but I eventually forgave mum when I realised that she didn't cause Hope to leave me or lose our son for that matter. Hope didn't have to follow her outside and I figured out that the only reason she was at her mum's place was because she went to meet Liam. Probably thought she could pull a trick to get him to latch on to her even if she was with me and carrying my son.

Mum and Deacon began to fall apart when I fired Rick and Hope and I guess Deacon told her to reign me in or he would find someway to do so himself. Mum took it as him threatening me and she kicked him out about five months ago. She then started dating Thorne actually and Ally wasn't all too happy about that but in the end for her dad's sake she ended up giving Mum a chance and they didn't worry about me accepting their relationship because I quickly did when they told me. Thorne is awsome and its been amazing spending time with him, Ally and Mum.

After Ridge left, Caroline realised she was 5 weeks pregnant. It totally messed her life up and when Dad and aunt Karen tried reaching out to Ridge a couple of weeks after they found out. Caroline had a miscarriage. The doctors say that the amount of pressure she was on led to her miscarriage as the amount was too huge for the child. Caroline was crushed, confiding in me that she did plan to raise the child on her own, and that even though Ridge left she still loved him and was actually looking forward to meeting the design protégée that would have been their child. She started going to council meetings. And that was when she met Sky Hamilton. He kept his identity a secret in the meetings as he didn't want anyone to know that his family owned the biggest Race cars production company in the world. She didn't know he was at first when he asked her for a cup of coffee after she spoke for the first time. They bonded over the next couple of weeks until he finally told her who he was. She stopped going to the council meetings to stop herself from seeing him. A week after she stopped going, she found him on her doorstep. It took a while but he got through to her and they ended up together. She just told us last night that after a pregnancy scare, she and Sky decided that they were going to try to have a baby as they both realised that they want this and in her own words this was it for them both.

I made Oliver head Photographer and things were going great with him and Ally until Nicole Avant came to town last year. She became interested in Oliver,but even though he rejected her countless times, Ally's jealously nearly cost them their relationship. That is until she left to join her sister and Brother in-law in Italy. Things with Ally and Oliver went back to normal afterwards and they are still going steady to this day.

Carter is now head of the legal department and he met my cousin from my mum's side Victoria Fuller. Quite a handful my cousin is but they hit it off and became official a month ago.

Victoria and I have a similar backstory. My aunt Robin met this guy when she was in her early twenties and she fell for him instantly. She got pregnant and he asked her to abort the child and when she refused, he left. She came clean to my grandparents but they kicked her out and she fought and clawed her way through life for Victoria's sake. She reached out to my mum a while back and even though mum was hesitant to meet her. I encouraged her to do so and the two have reconciled while I got to know my cousin a little better.

All in all things have been pretty good around here except for the fact that everyone I know is trying to set me up with someone. But I just haven't found that girl yet. The one who is bold , sexy, adventures , fun , lively girl I'm looking for hopefully I find her soon so I could get everyone off my back.
