Boardroom Showdown

Chapter Fifteen

Steffy's POV

I kept playing in Wyatt's hair as his head was on my lap after he fell asleep last night. Last night even though nothing happened between us I found myself wishing it did. He looked so peaceful almost like an angel sleeping. I can't believe I ever loved someone who can wish something so awful on his own brother especially after he lost a child as well. After loosing Aspen and realising that I'll be able to conceive again I found a new appreciation for life and how precious it is and how in one second it can be taken away from you. I'm just sorry her father didn't learn that. Ivy called me when she was in the car with Ally and Uncle Thorne, she told me what happened and how Wyatt ran off after cutting ties with Bill and Liam, she also told me what happened afterwards. I was a little taken back that Uncle Thorne stood up to Bill for Wyatt, I honestly didn't think he had it in him but I'm glad he proved me wrong. I went deep in to my thoughts as I kept playing in Wyatt's hair, I hate admitting it to myself and I'm trying so hard to stop it and stay away from him but I can't especially after last night. Last night we formed a connection so deep that it was almost as if our souls intertwined.

Flashback

"I can't believe that people can be so cruel." He told me, we've been talking for hours and every minute that goes by I feel even more sorry for him.

"Yeah I know I make fun of him and all but how on earth could he even suggest such a thing." He continued.

"I know just the thing you need." I told him and went into my kitchen, got the ice basket, two glasses and scotch. He looked at me and laughed.

"You read my mind." He said still laughing.

"Yeah well I'm getting pretty good at that." I replied as I sat down and placed the things in front of me.

"Neat right?" I asked him and he nodded so I put two ice cubes in my cup and poured us the two drinks.

"Look you want my advice?" I asked him and he nodded.

"Do what I did forget about your idiot brother." I plainly told him and we shared a laugh.

End Of Flashback

I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard my phone ringing. I gently placed Wyatt's head on the couch and went to see who was ringing me so early. I saw the caller ID and was immediately annoyed but I answered fearing he'll come here.

"What do you want Bill?" I asked him.

"Steffy do you know where Wyatt is?" He asked sounding pretty annoyed.

"Even if I do Bill I wouldn't tell you. Don't you think you and your other son have caused him enough pain." I replied getting angry in the end.

"So you do know where he is, look Steffy all I want is to make sure my son is okay." He pleaded with me but honestly I just didn't care.

"Well I would tell you but then again I believe you should live with the agony of not knowing for longer maybe that will teach you a thing or two about treating your sons equally!" I yelled at him and then I quickly hung up the phone. I went back to the couch and saw Wyatt waking up.

"Hey you." I told him with a gentle smile.

"Hey." He replied with his own smile.

"So today I'm going to take you on the roller coaster of life and I'll make you forget all about yesterday. Deal?" I told him as I threw myself next to him on the couch and I extended my hand for us to shake on it and he took it turned it around and kissed my palm.

"Deal. You know you are amazing right." He said and I looked to the ground unaware of the slight blush that started appearing on my cheeks. So I tried to cover it by quickly getting dressed and getting started on breakfast.

Bill's POV

After Steffy hung up on me I got to thinking and I realised there is only one person who will be able to fix this. I quickly dialed the number on my phone.

"Waww Dad nice of you to finally remember you have another kid." She said as soon as she picked up the phone.

"Don't joke Elizabeth this is important. Your brother is in trouble." I quickly informed her.

"Which one exactly Willy, Yoga Boy or Twinsy?" She asked and I was shocked at her final description.

"How did you.." I was about to ask but she quickly answered my question.

"Two words dad. Date and internet. But I do have to ask how did you manage to only take one of us?" She asked me.

"After your mother told me she was pregnant and I saw what a phsyco she was I made a deal with the docter she was examining with and the hospital she delivered both of you in to give me the kid after you were born, and because you were hiding behind your brother I thought that was it but then I found your brother two years ago and I guess its time to introduce you to your siblings." I quickly told her the story and my new plan.

"Waww things are that bad?" She asked sounding concerned.

"You have no idea. You still have your jet right?" I asked her.

"Yeah why?" She asked sounding curious.

"Because I need you to get your butt on that jet and come here right away." I ordered her.

"Seriously Dad you pick now to introduce me to my family I just got to the Bahamas." She complained and I sighed in annoyance.

"I don't care young lady I want you here right away." I ordered her again but more sternly so she'll understand that she doesn't really have a choice.

"Fine I'll see you tomorrow." She said in annoyance anf we hung up the phone. I sat in my CEO chair with a huge grin on my face knowing my pan will work. Elizabeth is just what Wyatt and the family needs right now.
