Steffy's POV
I went home yesterday steaming from my fight with Wyatt. I just want to kiss that guy. Wait did I just mentally say that I want to kiss. No I gave myself a mental slap to remind myself that he's the enemy. I got out of bed, took a shower, got dressed and went to work. I went straight into my office and did a little work. Then Pam called me and told me to come to her desk so I went even though I knew what it was about.
"Aunt Pamela." I smiled acting all innocent.
"Stephanie Forrester Junior, I see you haven't been back a week and you already got the CEO pacing around his office. Wyatt usually takes a lemon bar a day just to make me happy but he didn't today. What did you do?" She asked speaking slowly at the end with her finger pointing at me as she questioned me. But I just shrugged it off and smiled.
"And what makes you think I did anything?" I replied her question with a question still smiling.
"Easy you're you." She replied sarcastically.
"And what does that mean?" I asked wondering whether or not I should be offended.
"Just that you really are your grandmother's namesake." She answered.
"Well I take that as a compliment Aunt Pam." I said smiling.
"And you should you know how much I love and miss your grandmother, I have to admit that its nice having you back here. It's almost as if she's roaming these halls again." She said smiling.
"Yeah Aunt Pam I miss her too and thanks." I said smiling sincerely.
"Now are you going to tell me what you did to our new CEO missy?" Pam asked again obviously she wasn't letting it go so I decided to tell her and get it over with.
"Nothing, I just called him out on bribing the family members in to letting him run the company." I said like it was no big deal and obviously it wasn't so to dear old Pam.
"Come on Steffy he's just trying to keep the peace. " Pam said and I just got annoyed.
"No, no, not you too Pam, tell me he doesn't have you under the spell that he has on everyone else here." I said and she just smiled as she picked up the phone that started ringing in the middle of my rant.
"Yeah okay." She said and hung up.
"He wants to see you." Pam said.
"Great and I had the nerve to think I was going to have a good day." I ranted as I stormed in to his office.
"You summoned me your highness." I said in my best sarcastic voice.
"Ha ha, yes I did and thank you for coming my loyal subject." He replied and I held my smile so he didn't see that him throwing a nail in my sarcastic comment pissed me off.
"Look I thought about it a lot last night and I decided something." He said.
"And what did you think and decide exactly?" I asked confused at the meaning begin his words.
" That why fight with you, your comments won't stop me from being CEO, and I believe that we can do great business together." He said and shruggef his shoulders while laughing.
"That's very mature of you Spencer but I'll pass." I said and turned around to walk out.
"Wait." He said and I rolled my eyes and turned back.
"What?" I asked.
"Look your lingerie line was incredibly successful and I wanted to give you a chance to relaunch it." He said.
"And like I said,I'm not accepting your bribery." I said and turned back to walk away again.
"Just think about it Steffy I'm just trying to extend an olive branch here while you just seem to be looking for trouble." He said and it got me to turn back again.
"For your information I happen to love trouble." I said correcting him.
"Same here but its business time so we can't very well have trouble in the business can we." He said.
"Fine Spencer I'll think about it but no promises and I'm still going after your job." I said and walked to the door.
"And like I said before, bring it on Forrester and let me know when you find a way because you won't!" He yelled from inside getting me annoyed again why does this guy keep getting under my skin. I thought to myself as I went to the office
