Chapter Ten

Wyatt's POV

I was stunned to see Hope back. I was wondering why she was even here, her and her family have nothing left for them here. I looked over at Steffy who was still in as much shock as I was but when she realized I was looking at her she changed her expression from shock to compassion. Hope's eyes locked in to mine and her, her husband, her brother and her sister in law came over to our table.

"Caroline, already hitched yourself to a new business man I see." Maya said and Caroline looked at her in annoyance.

"Myrna, already married my midget of an ex husband I see." Caroline replied and me and Steffy laughed at the burn while looking at Maya and Rick who looked really burned as they walked away and Caroline kissed Sky passionately as she grabbed him and pulled him on to the dance floor leaving me and Steffy with Hope and her husband.

"I guess the rumers are true about you bringing my ex sister in law as your date, and you criticized Liam about being fickle." She said sarcastically.

"Well if you haven't noticed Hope we are divorced. And unlike you Steffy is someone a person like me would be honored to take to an event like this. At least her family is known for their class and not for sleeping with everyone they lay their eyes on." I said and she was about to slap with me when I caught her hand and slammed it away.

"Wyatt I'm going to get us something to drink and Hope please for once in your life don't make a scene." Steffy said and walked away.

"Quedrio I have to say hello to a few people. Are you okay?" Alejandro said.

"Yes my darling, go." She said and kissed him passionately which is probably all to get a rise out of me. He left and we were alone.

"Waw two super hypocritical bitches dating, someone would think you two make the perfect couple." Hope said sarcastically.

" Pot calling the Kettle Black I see." I replied in a even more sarcastic tone.

"Is she pregnant?" She asked.

"None of your business Hope." I answered.

"Is she Wyatt?" She asked kind of yelling.

"No!" I said.

"Well word of advice next time you knock up a girl be sure not to get your child killed." She said laughing and all I could think about was that she had been a guy I would've punched her.

"Bitch." I said.

"Waw she turned you against the mother of your son already." She said pissed off.

"Like you so kindly pointed out my son is dead because of his mother's carelessness. So next time I get married I have two things on my list One she isn't a stupid bitch and two she isn't a heartless one who would step over our child's grave to get back together with my own brother." I said.

"Well you should ask your brother why he wanted me to abort our child." She said shocking me but then I realized that was who she is a liar.

"Waw Thank you for always proving to me that you were never really worth that trouble anyways." I said looking her straight in the eyes not knowing how I ever loved such a woman. Her husband came over in the middle of our staredown.

"Is everything okay?" He said interrupting and I turned my attention to him putting my hand on his shoulder.

"Alejandro right?" I asked and he nodded.

"Do you understand English?" I asked and he nodded.

"Word of advice man, get out while you can." I said with a big smile on my face.

"Excuse Me."I said and walked out I looked over from the door and remembered that this stupid thing was on the sea. So I went over and stood by the shore.

Steffy's POV

I really did went to go get us some champagne but something in me said I should just let Wyatt deal with her. I looked over and saw him walking out and Caroline and Ivy standing with Hope instead. I went over to know what exactly happened.

"You really are a family of spoiled evil little brats aren't you. " Caroline spatted out looking beyond upset and angry.

"What happened?" I asked.

"Little miss Brooke junior here told Wyatt once again that he killed their son." Ivy answered.

"What?" I asked shocked.

"You know Hope I would like to thank you for something." I said.

"Oh yeah and what would that be Steffy?" She asked.

"For always proving that the sign change on your first press conference wasn't a sign change at all but actually it was the truth." I said completely satisfied with my slamdunk line.

"Now if you will excuse me, I would like to go check on my date. I trust you ladies can handle this." I said and walked away knowing with the look on Caroline's face that she may even end up punching her. I walked out and saw Wyatt standing by the beach. I walked over to him.

"Hey Steffy." He said.

"How did you know it was me?" I asked him confused.

"I just did." He replied back.

"Are you okay?" I said as I went over and stood next to him.

"After what Hope said?" I continued my question.

"Yeah my son is dead either way. What good will it do for me to be angry I'm sure he is up there watching over me with your daughter." He said as he looked up and I smiled at his kindness.

"You know what I always wanted to do." He said seeming kind of excited.

"What?" I asked.

"Come with me and I'll show you." He said and grabbed my hand running over to his car. We drove for a while and stopped at the old beach house which I knew he now owned. I grew a little worried thinking he was thinking that I'll sleep with him or something.

"Oh don't worry no, we are not here for what you think." He assured me after he noticed my worried look.

"I have swimsuits in there." He explained.

"Swimsuits?" I asked confused.

"Yeah I've always wanted to jump off a cliff in to the ocean at night." He explained.

"You in?" He asked and I nodded excited. We went in and he gave me a prototype swimsuit and led me to a room where I could change privately. After we both changed we went outside to the beach and saw a nearby cliff. He climbed first and almost lifted me up afterwards.

"You ready?" He asked and I nodded.

"But how about you go first." I said and he rolled his eyes and before I knew it he was running and he cannonbaled himself in to the water. I looked over the edge and saw him coming out from under the water.

"Come on Forrester, You only live once right!" He yelled and I laughed as I jumped in myself. I came out from under the water and he looked at me laughing.

"That was amazing!" I yelled and he laughed even more.

"It felt just like.." I said but he completed my sentence.

"Like flying." He said and looked deeply in to my eyes. He grabbed my waist and before I knew it he kissed me and without hesitation I kissed him back. It was probably the most passionate and memorable kiss that was ever planted on me.
