Chapter Twenty Five

Wyatt's POV

Our first date was amazing, and what made it even better is that I got to wake up next to her again. I love that about us, how we took it slow and waited for the right moment to be together, we got to know each other first and that made us way more comfortable around one another. I was completely lost in my thoughts when suddenly the smell of fresh coffee entered my nose strongly. I looked down and saw a twirling cup of coffee and I smiled as I took it from her and looked at the beautiful woman I was lucky to call mine as she smiled down at me and I gave her a little kiss. She turned around and sat next to me on the couch and I took her into my arms. We just sat there together for what seemed like hours and I didn't mind because just being near her made me happy.

"We should get to work." She said grudgingly with her eyes closed enjoying this moment together as much as I was.

"Huh, what work, do we work. I don't remember that all" I said sarcastically and she laughed as I smiled on her adorable laugh.

"No come on, I'm serious we have the weekly meeting remember the one you insisted we have each week so you could have updates on work." She said getting up as I sighed in disappointment. She held out her hand as if to pull me up but I grabbed her hand and pulled her onto my lap instead.

"Well when I insisted on that, I had no idea it would mean taking me away from my beautiful lady." I said as I leaned in for a kiss.

"Your lady huh, you do know it's the twenty first century right?" She asked playfully leaning away.

"Yeah so?"I asked kind of confused.

"So we have to go to this thing called work so we can have money." She said making fun of me as she held out her hand and this time I did as I was told and got up with a pouty puppy dog face that made her laugh as soon as she saw that and then she kissed it away. As we were getting dressed we talked a bit about work.

"Hey Babe, have you come up with an idea for that new collection we talked about adding; because like you said if we were to add another collection it needs to have a theme." Steffy said.

"Yeah I know, I tried really hard last night to think of something but I just came up empty. Did you?" I asked and she shook her head as a no.

"Oh well maybe the rest will have better luck and thank you so much for bringing Thomas on as a designer again." She said as she wrapped her arms around my neck and I wrapped mine around her waist. I let one go and pushed bavk a strand of hair that was on her face to her ear.

"Steffy it's your family's company and I will never try to keep any of you away or out of it. I'm just having a lot of fun running it but I would never forget my place. You and your brother are shareholders I'm just CEO." I told her and she kissed me.

"Yeah a great CEO." She said as she adjusted my color after pulling it during our heated kiss.

"Excuse me, I didn't quite hear that." I said playing around.

"Oh don't think for a second that I'll that twice but to be perfectly clear I read the numbers. Ever since you took over the company has generated more money than it did for a very long time and the employees are all happy with you at the boss. I give credit where credit is due." She admitted and I replied with a sarcastic Aww. Which she then replied too by slapping me in the chest. We laughed our way out of the loft afterwards to head to work..

We got there about an hour later and found everyone already waiting for us in the boardroom even Elizabeth was there.

"Finally, you know you two need to stop having rounds in the morning we all have jobs to do too!" Elizabeth yelled and I laughed while Steffy blushed a bit.
