Chapter Eleven

Wyatt's POV

Its been a week since the gala and my ocean moonlight kiss with Steffy. I remember how she kissed me back for a minute or so but when I pulled away to look her in those beautiful eyes. I was about to lean in again but she pushed me away and ran. I went home to find her dress gone and her as well. I haven't slept since then because every time I feel like I'm about to sleep I think about her and our kiss and fail to do so. Another thing that has kept me up was what Hope said at the gala about Liam. I knew I shouldn't believe her but what she said refused to leave my thoughts. I headed over to Forrester for my meeting hoping this time I will actually get to talk to Steffy since every time I've seen her this past week she literally runs in the other direction. I arrived at my office and saw Caroline, Thorne, Vicky, Carter, Oliver, Mum, Ally, Ivy and Steffy all there already waiting for me.

"Sorry I'm late you guys." I apologized.

"No its okay, we just got here." Caroline said and I smiled at her as I sat down.

"Okay lets get down to business. Mum, Ivy how is jewelry going?" I asked them.

"Good we've finished designs for Ally, Steffy's lines and Coture as well. We've also started on some jewelry for Vicky's line. You know some cute necklaces and braclets that doesn't get rusty from the sweat." They informed me and I smiled at the big progress.

"Awesome you guys. And Caroline designs?" I turned over to Caroline.

"They are going great Thomas and Ridge are sending me some incredible designs from Paris to finish the Coture collection. And JOTH's new dresses are almost done. I wanted to do them all with a Jewel placed by the heart." She said as she showed me two new designs.

"Waw these are awesome Car." I said admiring the work.

"Thanks, me and Vicky have started on the new sports wear." She finished and I smiled waw everyone has worked overtime this week.

"Thorne how's International going?" I turned my attention to Thorne.

"Great our boutiques in Europe keep asking for more shipments saying that everything sells out alnost every month." He informed me and I thanked him.

" Ally how's your shoe designs going?" I asked her.

"Great I finished the last one last night." She said and pulled out her sketch of a Turquoise high heeled shoe with a white heel.

"Waw Ally this is great." I said as I gave her back the sketch.

"And Steffy how is the lingerie line?"

"Its good I'm getting some prototypes ready." She said avoiding eye contact I stared at her for a bit hoping she will look at me but it didn't happen.

"That's it I guess." I said closing the meeting and everyone stood up and walked out of the office.

"Steffy can you please wait a second!" I yelled at her and she stopped turning around very slowly. I waited until after everyone left to stand up and lean on the desk.

"What?" She looked at me trying to act colected.

"You want to tell me why you've been avoiding me?" I asked getting straight to the point.

"I have not been avoiding you." She asked the question in a tone anyone would catch on that she was lying.

"Oh yeah, you've literally ran in the other direction everytime you see me in the hallway, you've avoided eye contact through this meeting and the one before. I'm not a genius but that's what people would call avoiding."I told her and she just looked on the floor and stayed silent.
