Kai went to all the companies who were holding auditions. When he got to KQ Entertainment, the CEO remembers his surname, remembering the legend that was San. When they watch Kai dance, they are very much reminded of San. Kai really reminds them of what San was like. I guess he has a similar personality to San as well. I know that Kai will love being an idol as much as San had. San had this passion for his career that nobody could explain.

Meanwhile, Kystral successfully passed the audition for Creative Arts Agency and now is managed under them. While Krystal was going to various auditions for different shows, she came home one day and told me,
"언마, 대한민국 보고십어요."(Mom, I miss Korea)
"알요, but you've got to do this so you have a chance to go back." I said(I know)
"Okay, I will work hard so I can make it." Krystal said, motivated.
"I know you will make it, K." I said.
"Thanks for always believing in me, mama." Kystral said.
"Of course." I said.

While both our kids are trying their best to live their dreams, following in our footsteps, San and I are enjoying early retirement life. We've been free of jobs for a long time. At some point, we've had to get part-time jobs to pay for our rent on our apartment. Other than that, we are still considered retired, unless we get full time jobs. To be honest, I'm not really sure how it works, but I know that a part time job can only get a person 30-40 hours. It sure is enough to get us about $500 each paycheck, and with this combined, we have $1,000, and it enough to pay rent on our apartment. San and I are glad to be working again because every once in a while, there will he someone who recognizes us and wants to take a photo with us. It's quite fun to see that there are still fans of us after all this time.

*2 Years Later*
Kai is now 18 years old and he's revealed that is debuting under KQ Entertainment in their new boy group. Kystral is 17 and she told me she got a major role in a new Netflix original K-drama. Of all the roles she could get, she got the role in a K-drama. She plays a second lead, but this is still huge. I'm so proud of Krystal. Kai also told us that there is a guy in his group named Cha Beomjun who is rumored to be the son of Cha Eunwoo. I wouldn't doubt it, and if it all went down like San, his son would only he 2 years older than Kai. That's actually pretty cool.

As for Kystral, she said she met a girl named Eliza Liu, who is rumored to be the daughter of legendary K-pop idol, Amber Liu, formally of f(x). It would be really, really cool if Krystal made friends with Eliza and they became close because their parents are former idols. This is all going according to their life plans. Kai made sure that while he is going to be an idol, he doesn't want his education to suffer, so he is taking online classes and planning on to do the same for university. Kystral is planning the same. I'm glad they decided to do it this way. I also enrolled them in Korean academy so they wouldn't lose their Korean like how I almost lost my English. They are keeping up with their Korean pretty well, as well, and I'm proud of them for that.

♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

Kai made his debut using his English inital and his Korean initials, making it: K.D.Y. Unlike San, Kai is a rapper, but his first position was vocalist. He changed to rapper because he likes how cool Korean sounds when it is rapped fast. He takes heavy inspiration from the likes of Agust D/Suga of BTS, J.Seph & BM of KARD, and Mark & Taeyong of NCT 127. All of these people were massive in their own rights. They deserve to be looked up upon by fans like Kai. He strives to be as good as they are one day.

While Kai is having his fun being an idol and finally living back in Korea, Kystral is also having the time of her life being an actress. Ever since getting that second lead role in a Netflix original K-drama, she got so many more offers for roles. Since she is fluent in both English and Korean, she has an advantage over those who can just speak one or the other. Kystral actually fell for her castmate, Im Jinho, who is the son of Monsta X member, I.M, while they filmed that drama together. They are now dating, while keeping it a secret from the public. Ah, my daughter truly is following in my footsteps. Except, instead of an idol, she is dating another actor.

While Kai is an idol and all, he's had his fair share of heartbreak already and he's only 19. He's had his moments where he crushed on another idol who is the same age as him and those who are his seniors. He's also crushed on other Korean celebrities who he just so happens to run into every once in a while. Kai knows it is just better if he doesn't get into a relationship for a few years. KQ doesn't really have dating rules, but they advise their rookies to not date until they are seasoned idols. This way, they avoid as many dating scandals as possible.

So, this story is now coming to a close. San and I lived out our entire lives together. We had two kids, a son we named Dae-yang/Kai, and a daughter we named Haesang/Kystral. They are now living out their dreams of being an idol and an actress. While Krystal is dating Jinho, son of I.M/Im Changkyun, Kai has no lover to call his own. He would much rather focus on his career than his love life. These two kids are really making it in the world, and are just starting to discover their true passions.
