Bambam's POV (during ch 25)

Bambam was full. Filled with everything he didn't know he needed. There he was sitting, his impatient leg tapping as he waited. Waited for her.

But as the music started, confusion showed in his furrowed brows. The song was as somber as it gets. The complete opposite of how he felt just seconds ago.

"End of the world" by Skeeter Davis. Rose's voice echoed along with Jisoo's. He felt a shiver from the sheer melancholy that echoes with every note hidden in its light manner.

Then there she was.

"Why does the sun go on shining?
Why does the sea rush to shore?"

Walking alongside and against the two crowds the were coming from both sides of the stage.

"Don't they know it's the end of the world?
'Cause you don't love me any more"

Their light steps danced along the stage in unison until they stopped. Except for her. She danced around the crowd until she was now at the opposite end.

"Why do the birds go on singing?
Why do the stars glow above?"

Then, she walked towards the middle as a man meets her there. their hands reached out to one another as they press closer and danced. They were happy. Staring adoringly at one another.

"Don't they know it's the end of the world?
It ended when I lost your love"

Then the crowd moved again, and they were swept away by the current of their movement. Separated.

"I wake-up in the morning, and I wonder
Why everything's the same as it was
I can't understand, no, I can't understand
How life goes on the way it does"

She looked lost. Frantic. She moved against the tide, looking, searching. She was pulled here and there, made danced with faceless strangers as she made her way past them. Until she finally escaped.

Only to be left alone.

"Why does my heart go on beating?"

Her lost lover stood behind her holding the hand that seemed to hold onto her beating heart.

"Why do these eyes of mine cry?"

His other hand went to cover her eyes. She slowly tried to take hold of it.

"Don't they know it's the end of the world?
It ended when you said, 'Good-bye'"

She spun around still holding his hand, and then they slipped from one another as they said 'goodbye'.

Bambam felt a prick in his chest, his own questions from that night echoing in his mind, personified in her dance.

She danced, hugging herself, chasing after a phantom only she can see. Until she halted and slowly looked up, straight at him.

"Don't they know it's the end of the world?
It ended when you said, 'Good-bye'"

To the eyes of everyone else, they might have seen the pain of love's end. But Bambam saw much more. How she would feel. He saw how she felt.

And that was all that mattered.
